no... I really wanted him... but with my crazy attendance now (less than what I got even in div III), I am glad I did not get him, nor any US NT player. I think this will probably be my last season... I'll just bleed the treasury to zero and see how that goes. :)

I kind of wish my team was in Div. V. Finish in last each season, and since it's unlikely that another team scouts, you could maybe get the two best players from each draft. Use all your money for a world-renowned trainer. A team makes so much money by having a drafted NT player; imagine having a starting five of them. If you're thinking about quitting you should do something crazy and exciting like that.

Other than the really boring months sitting around waiting for the big lottery score (which may not exist). Things were boring enough here in the NBBA last season when I tanked to make some $$.

I have made my peace with the draft. I don't put anything into it and then I'm not unhappy when I get three losers that get fired during their first week. Your results may vary~!

We should all just agree to put nothing into it :) Then it really is a lottery!

Nice thought.

I think the probability of consecutively drafting so many good high-potential players is going to be very low. In addition, funding such a project is very sticky, and will likely require much more dry powder than one anticipates, especially if each relegation represses income so significantly and improving players bring so little increase to their value.

Plus it would become very boring to play this game.

If I had to make it interesting, I would probably try to imitate lethargy's and reston's strategy of hiring experienced veterans instead.
