Yea my salary will be going down too.

That's the spirit!

I've got room to trim some salary (hooray for 18k eleventh men!), but I'm not under real salary pressure at this point. If I get a crappy cup draw and lose my rivalry/TV game in the first third of the season I may then be under salary pressure, but last season's rivalry and Cup double-whammy was unpleasant, and I don't have the promotion bonus to float the first half of the season this time.

That's absolutely fantastic seeing how I play both of you two THIS week.

That's rough, and I'd have more sympathy if I hadn't enjoyed the privilege of getting to face teams that had just tanked their game vs. Delta all season long.

I'll try to lower salary soon, but I think I want to get the best prices for everyone. I still expect to have a competitive team, even with a 400k-450k payroll.

So, uh, how's that overextension tax shaping up for your roster?

I can't wait for the LA's to translate the News Post into English. The tax and training portion of the post is a little vague.

After I sell the players I want to sell, it'll be back to 0. At the moment it's at -115k though. I think I have 4 weeks to sell though? Also, that training exemption is going to be huge. Really helps the hg route.

Yeah Kumiko explained it in the help forum pretty well. I really dig the changes.

As much as the changes hurt me currently, I am in love with them. This game is fixing me to do what I've always wanted to do, but wouldn't because of how easy it w just to buy a team. You guys may see me falling back to D.IV to finally do what I've always wanted to do.

You won't need to go all the way to D4 though will you? It's pretty easy to stay up in D3. There is definitely some real value in training now. I am pretty excited.

The way I understand it is that only new teams do not pay the tax for the first 4 weeks they are a team but the rest of us only avoid paying that tax in the first week of the season.
