I love Buzzerbeater because of the huge amount of pretty girls I have met here.

Maybe you confused Buzzerbeater with salsa classes?

Of course not. Maybe you confuse salsa classes with Buzzerbeater.

Posting for the 2nd time!

What I love most about BB is that games like this can happen:
(33859)

I love that simply building an amazing LI team, with 4-6 monster bigs that have no secondaries doesn't cut it anymore for the U21 NT competition. I love that strategizing is so much more crucial now in BB if you want to succeed. I love how much more diverse BB is slowly becoming.

Why did you predict inside normal?

Because that means that you are certain to get one out of the two correct and give you a net positive GDP effect. Our Inside guess was only half wrong, and our Normal pace guess was 100% right so we gained a small advantage from that. If we don't guess Normal as well as inside or don't guess at all, we lose that close game. It comes down to your knowledge and beliefs about GDP I suppose, and our USA offsite believes that one correct guess and one half wrong guess is better than not guessing at all.

Does it seem to matter which way around the wrong guess is? What I mean is, is it the same if you get pace wrong and focus right, or the pace right and focus wrong?

My belief along with some other USA managers is that they are weighted equally so it wouldn't matter which way your are off, pace or focus, but some managers believe that Focus is weighted a decent amount more than Pace is, but I have never seen any concrete examples or data to support this.

If they are wighted equally, wouldn't getting one wrong and one correct cancel each other out?

No, because like I said, with them being weighted evenly we still got one 100% right and one only half wrong. Had they gone Motion rather than neutral and we guessed inside and normal then that would have cancelled out, because one would be completely wrong and one would be completely right. Them being weighted equally does not correlate with them canceling out as there are different effects to being farther off from the GDP and the actual tactics that are played if that makes sense. Of course GDP still has some mystery to it, so I could be completely wrong, but that is how I view it, and why I think we won that game.
