Ha, funnily enough I was thinking about the NT earlier today as well. On the basis of considering running and thinking of messaging Vecx about the current state of our bigs. Based on Corral being on the market recently / the general lack of defensive stats they put up in games I'm not sure I'd enjoy the lack of flexibility either. I guess we're both defensive coaches to some extent. I certainly am in that the first thing I do tactically is working out how to try to stop the best opposition players...

On the other hand, I've not experimented enough in going the other way. I don't know how far a team can go with enough offense...This season looked a pretty decent run NTwise in general.

It may just be me not paying enough attention but I'm not sure how much manager talent in England there is outside of the EBBL at the moment. Related to the general low level of forum engagement (I've stopped posting as much as well tbh). Does anyone even head into the livechat on game days anymore? I might've chatted to Baks one this season and 1 other person but I think most of us have abandoned there too. Maybe we'll get an outside candidate and actually get behind their campaign though! We'll find out soon enough I suppose.

I've had more time recently, and a couple of times I've headed into chat just to see if anyone was there. Before the last few weeks I wasn't even online to watch games, I had to watch them later, which meant covering up the score in the schedule and trying to press to watch without seeing the result.

Same thing with the forum. Its usually dead but I think I've posted more in the last few weeks than the previous months. I can't even remember the last time I argued with a GM!

Sorry for the interruption..

Just a quick update from U21 NT. I've already seen hundred and hundred players in the last week.
After a first negative look, I was quite impressed because it seems we will have a good mixed team, with more potential in the outside lineup. Completly different from last year when we had our strength in the inside players.
There are some young players that are going to be very well trained.

However talking about big men for senior NT, I saw some good players that could be useful in the future. For example Murray has now 60k salary with 22y and could be trained well. Another example is Barral (now 21) which is consistently trained with excellent results.
