I can't see anything too unusual in my scrimmage. Maybe my opponent made a bit too many rebounds (too many offensive rebs) but TOs and steals seem to be alright and not too much changed with SB either.

even on your game, it was just 50% blocks of the old engine ;)

When this change should give shot blocking a value is this the wrong direction.

131:113 was the most point in your schedule after the ASD, but impressive low amount of to in comparision to the other games i watched.

I was just trying to point out that not every game today had 50+ TOs and other totally unusual things happening.

It often happens that people are complaining while a whole bunch stays silent because they're content ;-)

[devil's advocate]

The disparity envolving rebounding rates and total rebounds is explained by some sort of fundamental logic.

Let's assume team ABC contains PF/C with mediocre rebounding. The weight of their skill will have as a consequence inept/awful rebounding at team ratings.

However, defensive rebounds will continue to occur, basically because if the relation between skill and rebounds were stronger, we would have games with 40 OR by a team BDE with PFs and C with prominent rebounding.

Not fare, because in RL that doesnt happen either.

My 50 cents: lower total rebounds and make rebounding skill weights more in OR than DR - the ability to garantee DR and to "steal" a rebound on the offensive side.

Something wrong with?

Yeah you're gonna tellme my oponent played Full court press but i think is not enought to give a handling=9 and pasing=8 These lvl of TO

Howl to the Moon, you won't regret it.

and i was pointing out, that they are still some usual differents in it through the old engine ;)

So that i won't say that it is such normal.

Hi!

In my game(12704705)

The statistics of points per 100 are kind odd: my bests defenders have played as PG's(OD:12,5 and 11,5). At the SG position has played a OD: 7.
My opponent salaries of SG and PG are very similar( 9k)

And the results are:
Opponent: PG 98,9 SG:43,7

I played inidividual defence. I would expect just the contrary statistics in the PG and SG positions.

Bye!

well I scrimmaged another EBBL team and caused 17 TOs and conceded 5 and out-rebounded them 2:1 to win 135-68. Now, they started their reserves but... that seems a *big* difference. Not that I'm complaining, far from it

Dear buzzerbeater-team,

after watching the scrimmage, on which the game engine updates (improved rebounding system, more turnovers, more assists) apply, I have some remarks about the game engine:

I think there are improvements on the number of assists in a game to meet realistic stats.

Concerning the turnovers per game I think, the game I had to watch was a little bit too exaggerated. Ok, the opponent team played Full court pressure, but in my opinion the number of turnovers can still be reduced. That turnover rate is only realistic in games of junior teams.

I can't say anything about rebounding, as it is difficult to say, how many rebounds I would have had with the old game engine.

I was a little surprised by the end result of our two teams (138:127). My team normally doesn't score over 110 points, but I don't know about the other team.

One thing is for sure: It is more fun to watch and I just loved the often right defensive guarding, while playing a Zone. That is definitely a huge plus, when watching the game.

These were just opinions and I am eager to read what you and other players think about the updated Game Engine.

Edit: When I first wrote this I thought I was the first writing about the new game engine, and didn't realize I posted it in the wrong forum.

Believe its a little unbalanced.

In general I like the higher number of assists - rebounding did not change a lot in todays game, so I cant comment on that. (12708137)

Strange rating for one of my plaaers though - 4/7 shooting, 2 Reb, 8 As, 6 Stl, 1 Foul in 29 minutes give a 4,0 rating? (8155991)

Imo the FG% and especially the FT% should be higher overall.
