In the end it was GDP.

Congratulations Whitewind. Second manager in BB history to win the ABBL in their first season in the top league...

Congrats to Whitewind on his great win.

Ive been lauding your ability as a Manager for a few seasons but even im a bit surprised you were able to win the big trophy so quickly

Crazy stupid tactic trying to win it tonight away from home but fortune favours the brave, well done

Cheers. GDP was one factor for sure. Many factors in this game though as we know, which was one reason i decided to gamble and have a crack at the 2nd game, which has paid off. Nolan gave me a heart attack going down in the 2nd... Johnson needed someone who could play defense on him, and Nolan was having a career game until that moment. Sibbit had an admirable game filling in. Although his shooting percentage doesn't look great, contributions in rebounds, assists, and drawing fouls that gave me the edge against his bench at the end of the game. Id say in the end, fouling fishy's starters out was (if you are looking for one), the key to the match.

I believe congratulations go to the runners up, Guanzheng Goldfish, who have an excellent team and for a second straight season lead Great 8 and made the ABBL Final, a massive achievement in itself.

Now to take China down in the u21s Monday night!

Congratulations whitewind. Definitely a gutsy win to pull it off in 2 games, when was the last time that was done in the ABBL finals?

After you defeated aussie pride in the conference finals, in my mind you were the favourite to win it all. Not saying fishy is no easy beat either, he did well to win the silver trophy yet again.

Also of note, how cool is all top 9 players in the MVP voting are Aussies. Great to see the top league in the country nurturing our local talent. A few trainees up there too with ages below 28 suggest they have further development ahead.

so whats out there for the draft tonight in the ABBL? Who scouted and what are they hoping for?

I have not scouted. Obviously finishing with the best record i wont be getting much. It is a shame because it is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game for me.

It looks ok but as the general things since they made 19 year olds with better skills seems the potential of 18 year olds is not great either.

My guy is ok. Thankfully I was not tanking for the draft but depending on if i buy someone else should get training and could make 21 NT. Was hoping he was Superstar.
