You actually deserve to promote and I would be stepping into the dark side if I just brought in some rent a beasts to return to the ABBLand even if I did buy up I would be no certainty to beat yourself
NO doubt that I have tried to intimidate you into not buying up and you have held your nerve.
I have several players bookmarked and a nice bank balance available to acquire some talent but having been a bit of a fan of your team for the last couple of seasons, I would feel a tad guilty if I took away your opportunity to promote.
Having been there twice before (the ABBL) it is a bit ho hum and a bit of a cash grab on my behalf if I was to bring in the rent a beasts, as the reality is that I wouldnt be competitive in the ABBL whilst playing 3 trainnees at centre up against 150 to 200K beasts.
For you not having been there before it probably would be a bit special for you
Might even be better for my trainees to spend another season in div 2 where they will be less likely to get fouled out in games.
Not saying I will or wont use the cash, but I will certainly think about it during the next 3 or 4 days.
Again you deserve to promote and even if I did buy up I suspect that you might have the cash to match my purchases.
