This is by far the most entertaining league forum in Australia. It's like a soap opera and it's so bad but I just can't help but watch! lol

This is my old league remember. I still keep an eye on the old Div III league too but it's been relatively quiet. This league more than makes up for it though! :-D

Actually the BB Gods have decided to cast their fury upon me this season. I was looking good to at least make the finals after clinching top spot with a victory in last night's game. After checking the box scores I noticed that my $100kpw C had played limited minutes. Turns out he is now injured for 2 weeks... My $40kpw SF only just returned today after nearly 3 weeks off too. Both new guys brought in this season.

I have officially accepted my finals campaign is over. Worst ever injury run in the history of the Violationers, at the worst possible time.

On to season 16!

The one thing I have learnt is the $$$$$$ is king in this game. You need a good healthy bank balance to survive, and trust me, going from Div II to ABBL is a HUGE jump.

That is very important once you start in the ABBL, but it's also how you go about maintaining your team. It's just like jumping from d3 to d2. The difference is, half those ABBL teams have been there from the start or very early on. Some other teams have just been lucky to jump on the weaker side, and by surviving have made the extra cash to keep them going and get stronger as a result of it.
