I feel sorry for DC Dribble, he had two injuries in that game and lost by 1 point.

Yeah, he had two starters injured within the first 8 mins? I don't think I have ever seen that happen. The final score is closer then it appeared. He hit 2 three pointers within 3 seconds with 26 seconds to play to tie it, then fouled me with 2 secs to go and I made a FT to win. Of course, I had my two best players foul out before the game was decided....that played the 'same' position, so had a back up SG playing PF for the final quarter. All in all, a VERY odd game and an even stranger final 2 games for the Great 8. I am sure that nobody predicted this semi final match-up, especially as the 2 vs 4 seed.

I hope you're training GS this week, cause you need it.

This feels odd, but I'm actually rooting for you to beat me. I'm not ready for the NBBA, my arena's too small, my team isn't where I want it, I don't have enough of a bank roll to survive up there. I'd relegate instantly.

But then again, you and I have a rare chance for one of the easiest paths to the NBBA. This is only if Walker Wiggles loses to the guy who will go Bot right before the Finals. If he wins, well, business as normal. But there's a chance that all either of us has to do, is just win the match against each other and it's instant promotion.

Everything I said aside, I think or at least thought this earlier, that the team I matched up best with was you. I feel like you, 10 inch, and myself often post nearly identical team ratings. I'd put this matchup more into coin flip territory. I 2-0'd 10 inch this season just due to tactics, next season he could 2-0 me.

P.S. The team I LEAST wanted to play in the playoffs was DC Dribble. So extra thanks for knocking him out.

Most even and spread out MVP voting ever? Winner decided by 3 points. 5 different players had at least 4 1st place votes and 7 players in total got 1st place votes.

I'm glad you got the most favorable match-up that you wanted and you didn't have to play the 'better' team that I knocked out earlier.

Sorry, I didn't check the result yet, I was just reading the forum and thought it would be nice to congratulate one of my rivals about being excited to play me at my arena, where I haven't lost all season. He was excited and I wanted to share in the excitement. I like to be excited too. :)

You had a monstrous 4th quarter. Close game and then you were just like, "Nope, just kidding, time to win now."

But those first 3 quarters were why I said I'd rather play you. I think my team's a poor match for DC Dribble. Anyways, definitely want and need you to win it all, I'd like our conference to be a little less competitive next season.

I don't know what to make of this finals match-up. Neither of us have lost at home all season. When we met earlier this season, I won pretty easily at my place with both playing the same attitude, but his best player was injured and I was completely healthy, so taking anything from that game is pointless. Walker's team is pretty well balanced and only one of my guards would be able to crack his back court rotation. My team is obviously built for an inside game and both of his starting bigs would come off the bench on my team. I finally have 3 guards that can start in d2, but how do I feel comfortable benching a 100k per week big. In the finals, should it matter how uncomfortable I am? Out of the 15 or so players between the two of our teams that is expected to get real minutes this series, only one has form less then strong. Both of us are coming in completely healthy and in near perfect form. The HCA should swing the series to Wiggles in a close 3 game series, but injuries and foul trouble, if they happen, will alter the outcome. Neither of us is deep enough to overcome the loss of a starter to injury, but in the finals, teams are good enough that nobody should.

No matter what happens, the only thing I can predict with certainty is that whomever losses the series will piss off 7 other teams that have to see one of us twice next season.
