I think he's saying more injuries to the starters, not more injuries in general, to be precise. He's making the case that more minutes for starters equal higher chance of an injury to starters (and conversely a lower chance for backups). Another unwanted effect that has nothing to do with the removal of blank lineups, but with the removal of the sub pattern that came with them.

Thankyou for explaining my thoughts on the matter word for word.
If I could only be so eloquent in the simplicity of your decoding what i was trying to say but clearly failing.

The removal of the BLU was understood but for thoes who have watched many games like me and can tell you how the game flows. .. not stats. It gets alittle embarrassing to take a look back and see how many 1970s style alarm clock type scoreboards I have watched over almost 7 years. Seasons 3 thru 26 I did my own lineups. I got tired of missing big games to teams that did this. ... but no body is going to tell you soi had to find out through scrimmage. . And once i understood what was going on now the purchasing a players changed completely. .... it became COMPLETLY based on how the sub patterns would flow during a game. ... that's not less work that was more!
Instead of the game in and game out adjustments you put that time into what fit on your team. ..... oh and the clincher for me is that ALL offensive tactics became viable under this. .. you could get away from Look Inside and like your chances based on the strengths of your roster that you scrubbed the TL for.

+1 Lemonshine

Interesting discussion, for sure.

Step back and look at the big picture for a moment. There are a lot of computer games where the human has the choice of playing part of it or letting the compter play part of it. Generally speaking, the human playing as much as possible is a higher form of accomplishment. Those who bemoan part of BB being placed in their hands instead of being automatically played by the computer seem to be arguing for a lesser accomplishment.

Lol
At this stage my point is to get the aspects back that were taken ALONG with the BLU setup.
I'm not trying to change your mind....never was.

But your responses are the same they sound different but still saying the same thing.

I have given you heartfelt answers to what is going on and you are insulting my intelligence very very very very politely by giving the same answer you just present it differently.

It means nothing to you of my tenure here
It means nothing to you that i watch the games. .. hundreds
It means nothing that i actually might know what I'm talking about

I have had two people here clarify my words and you present chicken parmesan!
Next it will be fried, then it will be baked....
But it's still chicken, a broken record a video loop.

This may appear I'm all over the place but in reality thoes illustrations say the same thing....
Their is no change to your answer. ..
Then you question people's effort level. .... you have no right what so ever to do that.

I made a mistake in the supposed line-up but sometimes the 11th player come in, if others are tired and more than one player is substituted there is nothing magic within ... and we haven't used BLU .. for sure.

Hell Ya - We are coming from the North to conquer your arena ...

Having scouted the German NT more than once, I can vouch for the fact that they didn't use blanks. I can't remember for certain whether I commented on that on the forum or in chat but I certainly remarked on it.

Fair enough. You have your views and I have mine, and we are each steadfast in what we see.

OK aside from the fact that from S26 and earlier it looks like nearly all blanks for Germany, so it would be 3 seasons (plus this one) and not 5 as you claimed -irrespective of how your scouting abilities are- but the game I linked is the first I see where a team manages to play 11 players without using blanks, without having injuries and without having players fouling out.

Can you or anybody else provide more evidence (possibly from this season, so we don't have to speculate whether the manager used or not blanks at one or 2 positions) that it's still possible to field 11 or 12 players? I think many people, me included, assume that you can't play 11 players unless you have either injuries or players ejected. I would be very interested in understanding how that happens.

In the game I linked, Germany had 5 players manning the PF and C positions and Jagermeister, Broszeit and Dieckhoff all logged minutes at both PF and C positions. How do you achieve this if you fill all the depth chart slots?

After i saw few arguments let me throw one more:) To all of you defending this prevention code implementing while using argument: with BLU managers didnt have the responsibility and didnt manage teams just let ingame misteake deal it for them. To all of you.. Is current system when you only need to set 3 starters and rest is picked by someone for you ok? Is this coaching or managing team? Why there are blank starter positions picked the best possible way now??? Why the blank positions aint picked randomly?? Wouldnt that be better or more fair? So please stop making this hybrid solution masterpiece..
Again i will repeat it. I am totally ok with this BLU prevention code implementing. I just dont like that i have no option to pick the way i use my backup players. I want to play my deep roster as full as possible! This is something that is normal in real life and should be normal in this game, at least in faster paced tactics.
To that German thing. It were Germans who discovered BLU in NT way and was succesfully used by many managers after that. It was f.ex. manager of team ESV LAIM who succesfully used it on club field. Even though he played BLU i have beaten him with regular team setup in B3 semis in season 13.. Just to notice when BLU was discovered and proving i like the idea of romoving BLU.

Comparision (first two days of World championships):
Season 28 - Season 30
games: 12 - 12
total players: 264 - 249
avg players per game: 11,0 - 10,4
players with 40+ minutes: 4 (2%) - 29 (12%)
players with 35-40 mins: 18 (7%) - 49 (20%)
average result difference: 14 pts - 14 pts

That makes 23% increase in players who play 35+ minutes!
We have about 5% decrease in number of players involved in game.
