That's not a bad idea. What if my team is all old people though, and I want to rebuild for a season, probably relegate, and then come back to compete the next season?

Isn´t that what we´re trying to prevent?

Why punishment? If you'r playing at my arena and you don't field a team, no game is being played and I have to refund the people who came to watch the game. Since it's been your fault, I charge you the amount I had to give back to people. Seems fair to me.

Seems fair to me too.

Seems fair to me, too.

It still doesn't address the issue of tanking, if managers put 10 1k players on the scorecard.

It's been suggested a couple of times: if a team loses constantly with more than 50 points there will be not many fans watching the game. Let's say family and friends of the players, some fans, in total around 500 fans.

good one. I think that the walkover team automatically gets a GS drop for everyone to drop to average. And each walkover after that is -1 GS. so if they WO three straight games, they'd have inept GS. For when they play for real.

What if the BBs implemented a system where the salaries of your players fielded had to be at or above a certain amount based on league or division(excluding scrimmages and early cup game). And if it didn't, there would be some sort of penalty.

That would make sense, but only if the training system were different. The way BB is designed at the moment, it wouldn't be fair to punish a team that is, for example, trying to win the cup and losing league games. The way minute management is set up, while being a fun addition, takes away a lot of realism from BB.

But a lot of tanking teams don't care about competing for a whole season or multiple whole seasons. So that penalty would not affect them.

In fact, they would be encourage to tank. If you know that you can't promote, better off to use this season to make money and train.
No one is arguing against this.

What "anti-tankers" are against is the AMOUNT of money gained.
