Sweden 128 - Puerto Rico 50

Our guys had an easy evening. They beat Puerto Rico with a margin of +78 points. Tjäderborg was unstoppable and finished with 28 points in 18 minutes. Birgersson and Smol contributed both a double double and the others crused along.

Thanks to our win, we improved to 14th rank and surpassed some of our competitors. With the game against Jamaica next Monday, we could even move further up. Let's keep the game shape high and win some more games ;)

Really? Again Säfen?
If we are lucky he will miss only one NT game. Against Uruguay he should be back for sure.

At least it wasn´t me this time!!!

Last season, after Säfen got injured against my team in the season opener, karma kicked in and the rest of my season got totally wrecked by injuries and odd occurances. But that's what you get for taking out the superstar of any team.

Game 5: Sweden 98 - Jamaica 70

Next game, next win. We have now a 4:1 with +114. And this means 12th rank.
So far, so good. Jamaica tried to surprise us and used more effort. At some points of the game, they could compete (q1 and q3). But in q2 and q4 our guys showed want they can do. And it looks like playing hard defense and scoring.
With Säfens injury and Martinssons low game shape, I had to switch a little bit, but the result was satisfying. The game shape was on a high level ... you know how to make a training update nice

Next week we will visit Wales. From my side, we could take the next win. ;)

Game 6: Sweden 94 - Wales 75

With our next win, we improved to 5:1 and +133. But we are still ranked as 12th place.

Birgersson was the man of the game. With his very efficient double double, he helped us to secure our run. This season's defense is far more stable than last season's. And I hope that with the return of Säfen, a strong game shape and the enthusiasm, we will at least hold this level.

This brings me to the next point. Please keep an eye to the minutes and line ups. We are now moving to the important part of the season. Next week we have to paly against Uruguay. They are almost eliminated and I expect a CT against us. And during the KO games, it will be even more crucial. I know that I cannot take every GS 9 player with me to the games. But it gives me a far better foundation to choose the best tactic for a game. So please keep it up and let's see how far we can get our team.

Game 7: Sweden 123 - Uruguay 88

First of all, congrats for reaching the KO round. Now we have one more seeding game and with more one win we will have home court for at least one KO game.
Today's game was more or less an unleashing of the beast. 23-39 3ptrs are absolutly insane. But that's the great stuff when your whole team can shoot... I love JR
With a completly healthy Säfen this should get even more power. Today he was more distributer than executer. But Gustavsson showed his scorer skills. Smol was great too. Birgersson like always a steady DD machine... And than our two young guys. Martinsson and Molen. For Molen it was the first NT ever. I nominated him yesterday. Don't be fooled by his curretnly low salary. Their manager Spela is building two very nice NT guards.
7 players with a rating of 20,0 ore more shows also, that a lot of stuff went right. I just hope that we can keep this and make a deep run.

So please keep it up and keep your guys in a great game shape.

Congratulations, nicely done boss! Good to see that we're bouncing back quickly from the nightmare last season. I'm sure we can go quite far considering the ratings we had last game (against a strong nation too), so best of luck in the KO's.

Well done!

With a win next week there are a few other games that can generate an even higer position in the standings.

EST (6-1 +217) vs. CRO (6-1 +175) - the loser gets 2 losses.
TUR (6-1 + 259) vs. CAN (4-3) CAN (WR 13) must win to avoid elimination.
CZE (6-1 + 255) vs. ENG (6-1 + 126) ENG could win by a slim margin to get CZE 2 losses (please?)
MLY (3-4 +53) vs. BUL (6-1 +193) BUL will probably win but MLY (WR 17) should atleast put up a fight.

So if SWE win by a large margin there is a possibillity to climb to p 7
