sure - but it has to be realistic - otherwise there would be no reason to try and sell players any week other than this week... then reinvest after the playoffs....


Yep. You just came up with a rather successfull trading strategy.

Real life markets are very inefficient, professionals make money in stocks and derivatives all the time.

Game markets are so easy to manipulate it's unreal! :)

the biggest problem i see is that the more committed players know that thursday is the best day to buy... as most players tend to fetch fair valuations.. (no big discrepancy)

its when these players get automatically relisted to expire on Sunday that the more fairweather user looks on the TL sees a load of toilet and then sees what he thinks is a great player amongst the crap and then pays the new inflated price...

thats not game inflation that is just preying on stupidity... i also sometimes put above market prices on to see if anyone bites the only downside i see is that my opponents can view my players stats but this is the least of my concern....

I don't disagree with you. But just like in real life, markets are full of suckers.

You can't tell people not to overpay. The right price is what someone is willing to pay.

Player prices oscillate in BB just like the price of Vodafone oscillates in real life. It does not mean that Vodafone traders are stupid. That's just the nature of auction based markets.

A liquid market (more people) will have less price discrepancy (technically prices are less volatile, not sure about your background here, so I'm refraining from doing trader talk)

A market where at times there are less than 500 players is not liquid at all, hence more inefficient and with more price volatility. Traders can exploit that. It does not mean that other people are stupid.

At the end of the day, a "stupid" guy that pays 700K for a player worth 400K and goes off to win the title is not stupid at all. The other people in the league were blind to the opportunity and lost the title.

The idea of the BB is that if you have money in the bank you got to use it to win, you are not encouraged to hoarde money like in HT.

Vodafone and most liquid shares are so liquid that the daily hi-low differential rarely extends beyond 2%..

BB players at the moment can fluctuate +300% in 3 days... so not even comparable

I agree with the spending the extra 300k to win a league is never in debate..

this is a thread about cheaters..... they know who they are and they will be weeded out.... but yes until there is a steady 1000-2000 always online there will be some wilder price swings and valuations....

ok check that guy (901210) i bought him 1k gave him a little playtime and sold him for 150k that gives some crazy % profit , but i guess thats not cheating at all just pure luck i got him that cheap and sold him for a good price.

btw he does 6-8 and thats ok for 150k i guess but he is dam old.

i think prices will continue to rise as long the numbers of new teams increase that rapidly.

I need to search nickname to submit cheater.
But some cheater's nickname is less than 3 words (In chinese , I do not know other language). So I have no way to submit my report. BB should amend it , or the cheat can not be reported.

in the beginning i sent to BB=Mark but i imagine he gets a load of mails but for a one off.... can you copy paste the nickname.... sometimes that works...

We prefer the cheat report system, but if that isn't working for you, go ahead and send it to a GM and it will get looked at.
