If your a realist you should get a lot of fact instead of just believing the first thing you hear around here. You've got a lot of people here saying that it does work. So take your realistic thinking and put 1 and 1 together.
Sure it is well known that nothing can stop a well oiled LI offense with 20+ IS and 12 JS to go with some passing as well as RB and ID. Guards with lots of offensive flow, driving and some IS to. But then again how fun is it to just rely on one offense all the time? And for it to work as you want you would need to invest in some real expensive post players and that will need a lot of money for their salary.
Since this is a game and were free to do as we please your free to do whatever you like. But dont remember to have fun along the way.

And just think what will happen to the 1 offense teams if LI becomes weaker/other offenses get better/2-3 works better.

I really don't get what's the big deal if one of the players scores 40,50, 60 points... when all the others have scored 4 or 5. Your team total is still nothing special or at least, not better than if you played some other tactic...

Another example of a Patient tactic being used comes from the semifinal of the Slovakian Cup yesterday:

Wow, that's one of the best examples I've seen. 78k center scoring 72 points against 180k center. (gameshape was proficient vs mediocre, but still... )

Best part of it is, that the player that torched the opponent team has the lowest rating :D

Totally missed that. How on earth does he get an 8, and the guy that scored 1 point in 28 minutes gets 10.5? lol

One dimensional? He's a freaking center. To me this just demonstrates an absolutely terrible oversight in the game engine. Probably one of the most unrealistic things I've ever seen in BB.

How a PG with likely basic inside skills can score 72 points on a center is just absurd. Especially since the PG was placed in the post.

BB really needs to be a lot more adaptable in how they design the offense - defense matchups. Basketball isn't as simple as, "This guy is guarding this guy and the positions mean nothing, so if the PG is playing C but playing on the perimeter, the C chases him to the perimeter."
