Well, Fundamentally Sound just became the clear favouriite in II.4 with his last 4 transfers. His payroll is now $765,000 and I can guarantee that there aren't any one-dimensional players.

The SG has atrocious inside shot, but other than that they aren't really one-dimensional.

Now I just need to pick up 1 or 2 guys to round out my bench.

Summary of situation in League II:

Race for HCA in the finals (if teams get there) is heating up. 2 games before season its over, there is only 55 points difference between Pszczyna and Cerebreal. Will Pszczyna be able to hold on, or are they going to be passed by Cerebreal led by monster PG Barthel?

Cerebreal has 2 away games left, and Pszczyna has 2 home games,. Cerebreal is facing 7th seed Ruffian and 3rd seed Sherbrookers. I believe that Sherbrookers may pull off an upset in this game, especially if they will be forced to win it in order to get to playoffs. Ruffian will also play with knives on their throats as they are tied in win/loss ratio with 8th seed team and may possibly face relegation.

For Pszczyna the schedule seems bit easier, but it is not entirely true. Webfoots and Soul Crushers already know that they will have 4th and 3rd seed, but I dont expect any tanking. They will come out on the court to win.

Overally, everything is already decided in red conference.88s will likely face relegation (unless they can win an away game with Ottawa Lightning (who is concentrating on training) and make up over 50 points in PD to 7th seed Haylors.

We already have matchups in playoffs. Webfoots will go to Baltic Arena to face Pszczyna Team, while Soul Crushers are going to face Keyes Kops in a tough matchup. If everything goes as expected, Pszczyna should face Keyes Kops in conference final at Baltic arena.

In blue conference not much has been decided yet.

We know that first seed are going to be mighty Cerebreal, second Scarborough Stampede. It looks like sherbrookers are going to make a playoffs, but its not a sure thing yet. Overall, 4 teams will fight for 2 remaining spots, and in my opinion Sherbrookers and The Syndicate are favourites in that race.

Cerebreal should face Scarboroough on home soil in the final, but look for Sherbrookers as a possible dark horse.

Ruffian and Visoders are fighting for 7th spot. Ruffian has bit easier schedule with 2 home games, but it is possible that both teams will lose remaining games and it will come down to point difference where Ruffian has an advantage at this point. The truth is that whoever wins this race will probably remain in league II because both blue teams will be favourites in relegation series.

I figure 5 of the top 8-10 teams in all of D2 play in II.3, I'm just glad I don't reside in it.

Care to make your top 10/15/20 for us? :)

Wasn't directed at me, but thought I'd give a top 15 a shot. This list may be completely off (I noticed I hadn't followed some of the top teams much), but would be interesting in hearing from others following div2 more closely who they'd move/add/remove from the list. There were surprisingly few former Naismith teams on the list.

Fundamentally Sound - II.4
BryantFTW444 - II.3
Brotherhood123 - II.3
The Hounds - II.4
Pzsczyna Team - II.1
Cerebral Assassins - II.1
The UTE - II.2
St. Louis Beasts - II.2
The Ravens - II.4
SG United - II.3
Keyes Kops - II.1
Molson Canadians - II.3
ORR - II.3
Sun O)))s - II.2
East end screaming goombas bc - II.2

I think it is only based on standings. I dont think I am better than Cerebreal, and I am not sure if Keyes is better than teams like Scarborough, Sherbrookers right now. Those are only from my league. It's hard to accurately judge strenght, because its all about matchuos, not game ratings.

Hmm, you're right, although I think it has more to do with ORR's poor game shape which I think probably should result in ORR being off the list for now. I was going more on reputation since I had followed their team since ORR was my mentor back in season 11.

lol, it's Cerebral and I think my list is flawed because at times I was thinking who would be more likely to promote, and I thought with hca you probably have a slight edge. Sherbrookers should probably be top 10, their run in the cup was impressive.

Well i beat ORR as well with normal, except he went with TIE which i don`t understand why he did so... Anyways i think that all division ii.3 teams ranked 1-9 on the overall standings should make the top 20 list.

From II.4, the Cloddhoppers made the final 4 of the Cup while leading their division for most of the season. They did recently sell their best player however. And Headless Thompson Gunner is currently tied for the lead in that division which is considerably tougher than the one I currently reside in.

Regardless, making a top 10 or 15 across divisions is very tough, that's why I avoided doing it. But I would rank the top 4 as Fundamentally Sound, BryantFTW444, Brotherhood123 and Cerebral Assassins in some order. Not sure how many would agree with me.

Now I wonder how many D2 managers have figured out that 5 or 6 teams are going to promote this year instead of just 4?

Well you beat him with more effort at home and your ratings were not much better than his if at all. I have beaten him at home with equal effort and on the road with equal effort. I feel really braggy right now and I dont like that, but I just really like my team :) IF I can beat You on Saturday ill be finishing third in the toughest div II conference! :D
