Kansas Jayhawks, running the same offense and defense as the Indy Super Saints, albeit with not as talented inside players, and less threatening perimeter players. He runs a lot of players at positions weirdly. playing a 6'1 guy as PFs backup, etc. Where I don't think TIE will cut it, I feel normal + it being home court, should do the job. He also doesn't play some of the higher salary guys a lot of minutes, and shares time with the younger guys. His guards don't commit a lot of turnovers though.

Well, play the same guys, and MAke sure Salas is a t C position. The same plays (Like last League game),same line-up,HCA,Norm should get you a close game. Just as before+the HCA will count for 2 (I think 3,not so sure) extra enthusiam,so I think a TIE will be better,

When you say same lineup... does that include what I did at SF?

Returning from the DL today is Grzegorz Citak. Otherland faithful remember Citak from the quality minutes he put forth before injury. Citak left averaging 11.8 pts, 8.2 rebounds 1.3 assists 1.3 steals 1.3 blocks leading the team in 3pt fg% but had some issues holding onto the ball with a monster team lead in turnovers at over 4.2 a game (ouch, can anyone say Jeremy Lin?)
Citak being 3rd in pts, 2nd in rebounds, 2nd in steals, 2nd in blocks. Will surely be an added bonus to the depth chart.

And for the first time all season: after constant training, dedication, blood, sweat, tears, and hard work. Paul Salas trained, but did not pop. The training wasn't a total wash though with Quigley benefitting. Next week, Salas looks primed for something huge.

Otherland Owner and GM, finally got the budget squared away this week. As Otherland has positive money, they can begin making some small changes, to radically improve their team's chances of winning. Something needs to be mixed up as this season is beginning to spiral the wrong way....

A tied game at the half, spiraled out of control for Otherland. The second half was all Kansas.
6 players for Otherland in dbl figure scoring. Only 4 for Kansas. First quarter was especially ugly for Paul Salas, whom picked up all 3 of his personal fouls in the 1st quarter. Kansas Jayhawks, apparently watching the game film from the Indy Super Saints game, put the clamp on Julio "Jesus" Falcao, Holding Falcao to 6-26 shooting, including 2-12 on 3s, with 3-6 at the FT line, Falcao ended the game with 17 pts, 6 boards (2 offensive) 6 assists, 1 turnover, and 2 steals. Chung Hui, coming off the bench for Salas and Belkhaus contributed 17 pts on 5-13 shooting, including 1-5 from downtown and 6-8 at the charity stripe, 17 pts 7 reboundds (1 offensive) 2 assists and 0 turnovers in 33 solid minutes off the bench. Quigley playing small forward for the 2nd time in a week. a dbl dbl. 14 pts, 10 rebounds (2 offensive) 4 assists, 4 turnovers, and 1 steal on 5-17 shooting, including 1-3 beyond the arc, and 3-4 at the line. Belkhaus not leaving anything on the court, played 37 minutes before fouling out. He left the game with a staggering 13 pts on 5-7 shooting, and 3-4 at the FT line, 15 rebounds (3 offensive) 2 assists 3 turnovers, 1 steal, and 4 blocks. If only Otherland could have found a way to get him the ball more while he was in. Singer a quiet game, 4-9 shooting, 2-3 from downtown, 3-4 at the charity stripe, ended with 13 pts, 3 assists, 0 turnovers, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. Typically we see a little more noise from Singer, but a solid performance overall. Paul Salas, again playing the tough matchups, ended with 11 pts on 5-12 shooting, 1-2 from downtown, 0 FT attempts, 3 rebounds (1 offensive), 2 turnovers, 1 steal, and 1 block, collecting all 3 pf in te 1st quarter, and playing only 25 minutes of action.

All in all, you want to see more quality minutes out of Salas, and some better looks from Falcao, or atleast Falcao looking to distribute the ball more to the hot hands of Singer and Belkhaus when he doesn't have his A game. A heartbreaking home-loss in front of a sellout crowd. Long turnaround before their next league game, and management with some money. Coming up right before the all-star break, lets wait and see what happens.

All 3 of Belkhaouas' offensive rebounds, came on the same possession around the 9 minute mark in Q2, lasting till 808 in q2, without Otherland able to score on the possession. Epic Fail. But his dbl dbl came in the 1st half. Kansas hitting a 3 with 2 seconds left in the half tied it up, but Otherland started the 2nd half on a 7-0 run, after a Kansas Jayhawks Timeout, it was all Kansas from there on. as they coasted along, outrebounding Otherland 57-42 and stopping Belkhaouos from even touching the ball offensively with 0 shot attempts, with 21 minutes left in the game, en route to a 106-92 win
