---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Shepparton Shooters ------ 25 21 15 36 97
Geelong Vipers -------- 15 20 23 27 85

This game was a lot closer than it could/should have been. Even though The Vipers chose better tactics (yes, there'll be arguments about LI, but whatevs) and had better ratings, the Shooters still came out on top.

Rock, Vipers, Shooters?

Shooters FTW!

3 Points - Junel Viojan (SHE) He's called the 100k man. He gives $21 to the "Hair Flick" charity for zebras with identity issues (not everyone will get that) just to keep his salary at a neat $100k. Let's just say he loves two things: being a neat freak and zebras with strong identities. He pulled in a game high and massive 23 boards (6 offensive) and scored a tidy 33 points (if it was possible he have would have scored 33 and 1/3) from 57.14285714285714% shooting. Pretty sure they're the coordinates for some distant planet shaped like a basketball.

2 Points - Adrián Ahuir (SHE) Whatever you do with Adrián, never, and I mean NEVER take him to a place where they serve eggs. He gets super self conscious! That being said, he is really fast. He's a faster passer! Ahuir had a solid 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 17 points and the slippery little sucker also got a handy 4 steals.

1 Point - Xiong Weipeng (SHE) This point could have gone to about six different players, so I flipped a coin. Yup, that's right! There is such thing as a six sided coin. Actually, there isn't. No, truth be told, I don't know. Google? Xiong scored the one point mainly because he limited his opponent to two shots, of which he only made one. Nice one Xiong, nice one. Weipeng cleaned up 15 boards, blocked a shot and made 8 of his 14 shots to score 19 points.

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Skyhook Dreamers --------- 9 23 23 18 73
Awesome^.- ------------- 30 18 30 34 112

Awesome. Playing Awesomely. Awesome. What more can I say?

3 Points - C. Mulleras (AWE) Let's stop the rumour mill before it starts. He DOES NOT have the chlaps. What he does have is 3 MVP points! 17 boards, 4 assists, a rejection and 22 points from 10-16. Also only allowed his opponent to make 6 boards. Who's clapping now, eh?

2 Points - Edward Toon (AWE) Life of the party, this guy. Looney Toon defence this game. His opponent shot TWELVE from down town and got... ZERO! Hand up in the face anyone? 4 boards, 6 assists, 3 steals, 12 points from 5-8. This Edward had scissor hands.

1 Point - Viktor Csörgõ(SKY) Ok, so he missed some shots. Don't laugh. Nah, seriously, have a giggle. 12 3-pointers?! Really? Ok, that aside, he did do some good things, enough to earn him a point in the MVP rankings. 5 rebounds for a guard isn't so bad, but 9 assists for SG? Was it because there were always three other people open when he was trying to shoot? 2 steals too. Yipee!

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Whompas Donkeys ------------- 28 19 35 24 106
Los Coolfreakz El'Ninios -----------9 10 18 7 ----- 44

CFK with their highest EVER rating in perimeter defence, got told by advisers post-game that perimeter defence, while important, won't win games.

3 Points - Ignacio Santana (WHO) "A walk in the park for the boys," Ignacio was heard commenting after the game. Oh! The arrogance!!! 17 rebounds (more than half -10- of them being offensive), 1 assist, 3 blocks and 19 points off 9-19 shooting (he almost missed the 3 due to this).

2 Points - Vassos Filoglos (WHO) Vassos was much more humble than Ignacio. He spoke at length with the other team about their direction, what they wanted to achieve. They were seen exchanging numbers and.. winks? Weird.. How nice he was after the game was certainly not reflective of how he treated them during the game. Great defensive effort. 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 blocks and 19 points with a respectable 8-15 from the floor and 3-6 from downtown.

1 Point - Medartas Tvarijanavicius (WHO) You know what? I pronounced his name and I got it right. Prove I didn't. Voila. 14 boards (7 offensive), 1 block and 23 points with a solid 11-17 fgs just get Tvarijanavicius over the edge for one MVP point.

imagine that JW Bulls swimming with the Calamari!! that would've been a strange feeling... hahahaha
though i'm sure the CFKs will be better off with you guys and mentoring him, there would probably be too many trust issues with me being a Calamari! ;)
HAX - great writeup!

---------- ROUND 2 ----------

Brisbane Thunder ---------- 6 11 16 14 47
Home Axis ---------------- 26 30 27 19 102

Leeroy, didn't you hear! Axis hates walkovers! (196319) Wait, my bad, it wasn't a walkover... *crosses fingers that The Thunder don't someday smash him*

3 Points - Thomas Friedrich Mayriedl (HAX) Married to getting good results, except for in the following week's games... This game, though, another massive performance. 18 boards (6 2nd opportunities), 3 steals, 3 blocks and thoroughly sexy 36 points (17-25). Another 3 points in the bag for the bachelor.

2 Points - Leon Boise (HAX) Lean on me boys. That's what she said. 7 boards, 5 assists, 3-5 shooting for 6 points makes him look ok, but having his opposite position miss 29-38 fgs and 10-11 from downtown puts the signature on paper for two points.

1 Point - Dejan Kuljović (HAX) It wasn't until I noticed his opposition that this became an easy pick. 9 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and 11 points (50fg%) is as good as the others, but holding his opponent to 6 shots and making him miss 5, as well as hypnotising him to give up 5 fouls hands him a narrow edge.
