Sure, he was a nice player. Maybe no difference maker, but a nice 5th man, or back up guard for BBBL standards.
Those are also important players in a team.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. Of course I was joking about adding more greek players to my roster.
It's pure coincidence that I have 3 of them right now. And last season I sold Christofilakis, that makes 4.

Regards,
H

Oh, ok as a 5th man i agree. And yes, those can be important too. But no starting player.

I am sorry, but I totally disagree with your vision of a starting player.

I don't think it requires primaries at 17 to make a good starter player in BBBL, and I should more focus on multiskilling and overall balance.

These players are cheaper, thus enabling the dedicated trainer into pushing their primaries forward if they feel they need it, without breaking the potential barrier. And they get the job done, nothing fancy of course, but mission accomplished for a reasonable price.

Check my own team, my starter C costs 65 k / week. OK, his average perf on the season is 14, which is ridiculous in comparison with Claeys who is a confirmed 17. Except that the latter costs 3 times more per week ... When calculating spent money / performance, it is just not worth it.

If you want to win the B3, there is no room for Sekulic, but if you're in a tanking mood these players are an invaluable asset, enabling you to win your games at a lower cost.

Now, that's true, the starting 5 isn't so impressive, but saved money can get you a decent bench also. When the opponents' 200 k monster is out on low stamina, a good benchwarmer will always get the better over a crappy one.

I'm not claiming THE truth here, but MY truth of course, there are several ways to reach success , that would be boring a lot if everyone had the same strategy. And anyway no matter what yours or mine is, only Joe wins at this game :p

No problem, you have a point, and actually I agree with most what you said. It's just not the kind of player I would buy.

It depends on your objective also. I certainly won't win a trophy with Sekulic :/

Wow.

You must be very disappointed, but what an amazing semifinal we had. Too bad one of us had to exit.

That was a breathtaking game to watch, I thought things were over when I lost Vekemans, and I held my breath on your last 3-pointer ...

Disappinted indeeed :-(

But it surely was an exciting game to follow. Numerous times both teams took the lead over and over.

Just after your injury with Vekemans in the 3rd quarter, you had a few minutes a difficult time, and i went from 69-67 to 71-79 if i recall correctly. Then i thought i had it, also because you just lost Vekemans.
But al off a sudden you make an 8-0 run to make it even again, and from then on it remained a very close game till the end.

I feel like both teams could have won, but you certainly deserve it because you lost Vekemans and you still managed to pull the victory towards you.

So yes disappointed, but proud of my team's performance, and it was a game full of suspense.
