I have to force myself to laugh through mediocrity.

I'll get the power rankings going on Monday. Also good job on the forum activity we have almost eclipsed last season's total.

The revenue is really nice at this level. But 4 of the next 5 league games on the road. Will be tough sledding for awhile.

SEASON 38 III.1 POWER RANKINGS

Methodology: Pretty simple. I combine the team's performance (ratings) with their record. Skewed heavily toward performance. A good way to take all into account. I use numbers behind it to create a little metric so that is what is next to the team names.

3/26/17
1. Bluegrass Nationals - 46
1. Carmel Griffins - 46
3. Streetlight Nightmare - 44
3. BC Iron Horse - 44
5. The Apaches - 43
6. Swamp Things - 42
6. Terre Haute Highlanders - 42
6. Golden Horde - 42
6. Sinwell - 42
10. Lakeland Wolves - 41
11. LA Lions - 40
12. New York Nuggets - 38
12. Mars Aliens - 38
14. Burlington Orbitals - 37

Three Big 8 teams in the bottom 5, three Great 8 teams in the top 5. Looks about right. I think the Great 8 is the stronger conference so far.

Interesting spot for my boys. Not sure I belong there but I guess time will tell if your analysis proves true. Thanks for posting.

Correct assessment regarding the Nationals, but I think the distance to number 2 should be a tad greater. Looks like we are the only team carrying a significant team salary.

It will change as the season goes on and GS is managed and effects ratings more. The first releases are always closer due to the teams finding GS rhythm at the beginning of the year.

For instance, after this last game, your team rating is now a 52.

That's a gutsy play, but it really paid off for that guy, he pulled a bot next round... the $100k crunch time.

I just had my toughest second round match ever. Thought my opponent might CT me as well so had to throw a league game to play my starters on Normal. Fortunately he didn't CT and I won handily. I got an easy team next round so was worth it.
