Just one quick question, how much do I receive in the end of season bonus if HA is able to avoid relegation?

You receive a pat on the back. Now say to yourself, is that worth the trouble?

These are my predictions
BIG 8
6. Datzilla
7. Iwen
8. Zazz

GREAT 8
6. HA
7. Hadders
8. Seagulls

If anybody had any hindsight, then the 5th spot in the Great 8 is now more valuable then ever before. Cos relegation series without HCA against Datzilla is a lost cause, and a series against Iwen with or without HCA is also a lost cause when Iwen spends all that money to stay alive in the ABBL.

so...
PG - 66k
SG - 183k
SF - 34k
PF - 151k
C - 170k???

you still need some good backups to be able to go 8-0 the rest of the way.

Very interesting to see how the likes of Hadders, Zazz, BHB, Pancakes and Datzilla react to the moves of HA and inparticluar Iwen.

Cos relegation series without HCA against Datzilla is a lost cause,

Dont know about this, Zazz would have a bigger stash of cash tucked away than anyone.

Datzilla may be a tad reliant on the Fatboy.

One injury to any one of the key players of the relegation series bound teams, could spell demotion.

Has got interesting.

Will the seagulls now make a run for it now that they have a taste of victory?

I wouldn't discount zazz as she has a pile of cash hidden in her vaults somewhere which she can use to buy up when needed. It'll be interesting to see what her reaction to the purchases of Iwen would be.

Also, as it stands, Iwen needs to win 5 of the remaining 8 games to overtake zazz which in itself is quite a challenging task even with that roster he just bought up. Sure he might have 3 good players but he still needs to surround them with backups unless he intends to train GS every week and give up his training plan for the rest of the season.

Maybe HA and Hadders buying up now is showing their hand a bit too early? Zazz and DFBS have a few more weeks to milk cash and also will know what sort of players they need to buy to beat HA and Hadders in the relegation series.

Love to see Zazz make some moves before tomorrow nights game.

Flatten some Pancakes they could

If they win 3 games and Fatboy wins 2 games, then Iwen might be too far back regardless of who they buy, unless they can get 8 out of 8 wins.

The thought of playing a cashed up Iwen in a relegation series just might stop Koops and BHB from selling off players.

Could it be that a team like Zazz or Hadders might change strategies and chase the top draft pick position?

Who will stop and prop (not chase 5th spot and save enthusiam for a relegation series) and who will risk everything to avoid a relegation series?

Getting very interesting

Seagulls are more pleased than ever with their position of training and just making $450-500,000 profit each week. I have bid on at least a dozen great SFs recently but keep missing out because the price goes too high or the auction ends at a silly time. I have never ever had an amount of money close to this and that is despite massive arena expansions, staff upgrades and spending $500,000 on my trainee Garrett.

I have to admit having three trainees I was wondering what I would do next season seeing I have the first pick in the ABBL draft, now that I have seen it I know that wont be a problem, as there is no-one worth training in the entire draft.

Iwen just keeps on buying a 100K a week players

Looks like Zazz or Fatboy are increasingly likely to be auto relegated.

HA has bucklys chance of making 5th

Who said 2-3 zone was broken? Koops pulls off an improbable triple OT win against Bell Park Supercats with the unpopular 2-3 zone defense.

But that triple OT really stuffed up my minutes, so expect really bad gameshape for my players next week.
