I think he could be made into a good PF. If he got some one on one training for forwards and passing training to get Driving, Handling and Passing to Respectable then his big man skills will train quite fast at his height. Not sure where that will leave him in U21 calculations but usually big men who have decent guard skills are low in number.

I would agree, some one+one and passing training, then smash his big man skills, and make him a PF.

Personally, I'd give him a little bit of passing training, then look to train his inside skills.

He looks pretty good and if you need one , in the future you could turn him into a decent SF.
I like my passing especially for the big men :) my C averages the most assists for my team.... But his height is a little restrictive in terms of training guard skills. Therefore if you are looking to turn him into a PF or SF with at least decent guard skills you may wish to concentrate on them now. It may be frustrating to not see a pop every week for you 18yo trainee but i can guarantee its a lot worse to end up with a guy who can't pass, often turns the ball over and is popping guard skills like once every 3 weeks. Which might happen should you leave training guard skills to a later stage.
So my suggestion is concentrate on handling, passing and maybe a bit of JS and JR next season with bits of IS and ID and i think you'll be good.

Your bloke has much better inside skills but I've been working more on the outside. I want one more pop in passing and two more in each of handling and driving then it is 100% full time big man training.
Any suggestions? I was going to do the 1 on 1 for guards not forwards because I hope to also pick up a JS pop if I am lucky but will he learn those skills slower because of his size? What I mean is as a 7 footer will he pop faster doing 1 on 1 for forwards or 1 on 1 for guards or does it make no difference?

Looking good bluebryden and i like your planning for more passing/handling before starting on the big man training.
I would probably go with 1 on 1 for forwards. You'll get some JS training when you switch to big man training and train Inside Shot so you should eventually be able to get a couple of pops there.

Great PF, you might want some passing as well as driving mentioned before. passing matters more in TO number since I noticed that I had a guard with proficient passing but atrocious handling have good amount of Assist to TO. After driving, just pump big man skills hard but If you wan to focus your team around him.. like I suggested raise passing heaps since you will need it for Princeton which rely heavily upon your PF.

Yo well my homeboy right here ZD has had a mighty fine year and is becomming a beast on the courts. I know he is borderline for your Aussie U21 team and will probably miss out but is there anything I can do to give him a shot?

One useful thing would be to know what targets he would need to reach to make the team if he is even in the ball park? Thanks y'all.

He'd need his passing up to at least strong and a lot more OD to even be considered i'd think.
I don't think there are any official "you need to be this tall to go on this ride" sort of things for the U21 team as young players can often be quite different depending on how they're trained early and it just depends on what the team needs a the time i guess.
