pano ba magtrain? it seems that hindi naman ganun ka significant ang training ng isang player kahit exceptional na ang trainer

Tanong mo ba kung paano magtrain ng player para sa U21?

1. Pili ka muna ng isa o dalawang players na gusto mong itrain. (Sa ngayon mukhang ok si Ferriol, kung gusto mo hanap ka ng isa pa.)
2. Tapos, ibigay mo sila ng single position training every week (double position kung yun ang minimum, e.g. jump shot, driving, etc).
3. Ang huli, siguraduhin mo na may 48 minutes lagi yun mga players na yun.

Ayun na, basta parehong players ang lagi mo nitratrain at maganda ang potential nila (allstar pataas), makakapasok na sila sa U21.

Maliit lang ang difference kung exceptional trainer sa advanced kung magtratrain ka ng player para sa team mo. Pero kung magtratrain ka para sa U21, malaki siya. :P (Ang mahirap lang sa exceptional trainer ay malaki ang kanyang sahod)

Ayun lang, good luck sa paggawa ng isang U21 na player. :)

Pilipinas U21 Update

Season 16: We did not qualify for an outright berth to the World Championships but we did qualify for the Repercharge Round by placing 5th in Asia.

Season 17: We are bracketed in the Repercharge - Pool D together with France (Ranked 4th in the World), Chile (Ranked 15th), and Tounes (Ranked 75th). Philippines as of now is ranked 7th.

1st Game: Pilipinas U21 100 - Chile 110

Chile gambled on more effort and happily walked away with a win. Chile was bannered by their 15k salary SF Juan Rogers who top scored for Chile with 22 points, although managing only a 7.5 game rating and playing a game high 48min. It was a team effort with 5 Chilean players getting double digit scores in the game. Pilipinas U21 was led by Romeo Imba Indig who had 22 points and 10 rebounds. But he fouled out late in the game and could only cheer on the bench as the Chileans pulled away. Indig was also 0-9 from the free throws.

2nd Game: Pilipinas U21 96 - France U21 102

Another heart breaking loss for Pilipinas U21. The game was very close in the 1st half with the young Pinoys leading by 3 points by the break. Again Romeo Imba Indig led the young Pinoys with his 18 points and 13 rebounds effort. But they could not stop the French cavalry who were led by Nicolas Peachy Legrand. Peachy scored a whooping 30 points and hauled in 14 rebounds for the young French Team.

Standings: With the two defeats, Pilipinas U21 is now out of the Repercharge Round regardless of the result of tonights game against Tounes. Next week our U21 Team will be playing in the Consolation Tournament. This would be a great venue for the 20yo players in our team to showcase their talents.

Hopefully next season we will have a good core of players. And hopefully we could win back our place in Asia.

ang srap basahin kasi si Indig ko ang nag dala ng bandera ng pinas ngayong season.. kaso.. wla eh.. gnun tlga ang laro..

Lakas naman ni Indig, top scorer na naman. At hindi 0-9 sa FT ngayon. Wow.

By the end of the Repercharge Round, the qualifiers to the World Championships are:

Pool A: Deutschland U21

Pool B: España U21

Pool C: Israel U21 - They are tied with Argentina at 2-1, But i believe they won by Point Differential.

Pool D: France U21


And with that, Pilipinas U21 will go to the Consolation Tournament with a 0-2 win-loss card.
