More rebounds, despite my team having a better rebounding rating.

I've seen worse, but this was pretty bad when you consider the ratings. Normally my team wins that game by double digits.

Ok, so what went wrong for me in this game? I think my players got tired and since I have a good bench they didn't get to help out at all. My big question is about playing time. Does the playing time in this game look a little strange? Before you see it remember I chose Depth Chart until the 4th quarter as my substitution pattern which is basically what I always choose and I have never had the starters play this much. It's almost always between 32-16 and 40-8 as far as PT between starters and subs but I didn't see that for any of my players in this game. I don't know what MVD had chosen for his substitution pattern but it looks strangely similar to my team as far as playing time goes.

HCA and enthusiasm advantage both effect rebounding. So his rebound rating is flawed.

Today i am very dissapointed with my league match... (33067247)

Playing Inside against a team with only one inside player, getting the right defense, staying ahead the first 3 quaters and in the 4th they draw the game with a triple with only 2 seconds to play...

in the OT with 2 players foul out they win by a impressive 15 pt!

what the hell hapened? Any ideas?

He did have relatively high OD, which may have been the reason for your 17 turnovers. Also your perimeter defense was not enough for his Outside Scoring. He also had a better flow and was playing at home. Not that surprising he came back and won.

Check the Suggestions they are important

OK. i know he hat homecourt advantage, and better outside offense and defense, but my inner game should be enougth to overcome that (inside shots have better efficiency than outside shots...)! And what really pissed me off was the OT result... 15 pt difference.... way to much considering he had no PF or C playing!

Well, yes, Inside Scoring is more efficient and reliable than Outside Scoring most of the time. But in a close game, the outside team has a huge advantage - they can score 3s reliably, which is the main way of cutting down the opponents lead.

Think of that in the terms of the NBA Finals: The Mavs are an outside shooting team (basically playing some slow Motion offense), while the Heat score inside more often (basically playing Look Inside or Outside Iso). So what happened in most of these games? The Heat worked towards a nice lead, but once crunch time arrived, the Mavs defense shut down the Heat offense, and the Mavs came back with their threes, winning more often than not.

So yes, shots close to the rim are the most efficient, but hitting 3s is the best way to win close games (besides making your FTs). LI will give you lots of blowouts, but if it gets close, outside tactics are better.
