I had a super tough run in I think season 11. From memory, played ranks 1,3 and 4 on the way to the final, then lost to rank 5 in the final (I was rank 2). That sucked.

Not sure what the rest of my draw was, and can't be bothered check atm :p

Wow that season 18 run was incredibly hard but mllama really playing 5, 4, 3 and 1 when he was 2 that must be the worst draw ever! That season was the final hurrah of Niko. I remember what a noob I was back then with no-one above all star potential being trained and no-one above $10k salary on my roster. They are both 35 now so may have gone down in salary but Niko's two best performers were $45k Daniel Vendrell (2569313) and $38k Fredrick Davidson (836661).

This is not only the most unbalanced league I have been a part of it is the most unbalanced I have ever seen! Wow 2nd in Big 8 = getting relegated in the Great 8. It sucks to be us!

Nice to see you a supporter again Bryce I had forgotten how many trophies you had, quite a collection. Hopefully you will be adding a division II championship in season 21.

Currently the great 8 has 14 more wins than the big 8, which is a fair thrashing.

Reckon season 9 is the most unbalanced in the ABBL from a quick look. the differential was +14 for the big 8 that season to, though you'd expect this seasons differential to close up a little, given there is one round of cross conference games left, and they are big 8 home games. This season is also a bit skewed by the bot.

There were a fair few seasons in the early days where the big 8 dished out a thrashing.

In season 9, 14-8 in the big 8 didn't even make the playoffs. 10-12 made the playoffs in the great 8, and 8-14 came 5th. Pretty unbalanced

Wow in season nine AVALON JETS were indeed 14-8 +180 and ended up 5th. Even worse remember in those days you went two weeks with no income for 5th it wasn't the 3rd best place like it is now although I imagine salaries were about half of what they are now.

HAs only 2 wins for the season have been over Big 8 teams, Fat Boy and BLS

As evidenced by the nature of my loss to Trikster I have now decided that I want first pick in the draft.

Lots of 18 year olds about, infact too many for me to interview them all.

Hence I will be using height as a guide to decide which of the 12 to 18 players that I shall interview so that I can get the high potential 18 year old who has the best chance of making a champion Small Forward

I imagine that this potentially might mean that a very tall > "x" cm or an extra short gaurd < "y" cms, future absolute champion might sneak past my clutches

Please please please let me know if there is anything either side of the height range which Ive wasted all my precious scouting points on.

Been a huge effort finishing last this season and it would have been nice to at least draft a half decent player for a change

Hasnt been a whole lot in recent seasons.

Adams Guns in season 16 looked to have gotten a decent player but he doesnt look to have made the Aussie under 21s

I guess on the bright side I may not have to sell one of my current international trainees.

Ryder my one and only aussie trainee is coming along slowly and steadily, this friday I hope to get him his 4th pop of the season in outside defense


Incidentally just noticed the number of posts that there has been on the ABBL forums over the last 6 seasons
