Thanks WB, I appreciate those wise words and hope my "over the top" purchases can get me over the top so to speak.
I'm very sorry to ruin your chances of a double this season.

Succeed or fail I will most likely tank next season and train up my current 21 year olds... I dont think I'll have the money to make another attempt at the ABBL for a long cos its so expensive... so this season is all in - poker style.

The river card has been played and its time for the others to call, check or fold. Hopefully my deuce ten is good enough to win the pot.

Koops your attitide reminds me of a fellow in Div II.3 a few seasons back.

I think when I started making posts that I was still intending to buy just the one more beast after alreading investing 5 or so mill in a couple of others, I was already in the red and just bluffing.

Anyways I'm awake up to you.

What your actually trying to do is bluff me into not tanking for our game tomorrow night.

That way you can still sneak a loss and get that magical 5th spot.

I think I should be offended that you have me on the same line as someone selling their team ....

and I'll take some of wombats at $2.75 please, given he has HCA throughout I think it puts him on equal terms with Koop's rent-a-team

Yeah I have always said that HCA is worth 500k in salary. So both teams are equal so far.

But my bet is on WA/BHB for $20. Such good odds for that one and the great 8 is wide open with WB stepping aside.

I'll put in a multi as well while I'm at it.. wombats for champion + glenelg tigers relegated + slam! relegated.

Im a huge fan of Glenelg Tigers, but gees $1.01 looks an attractive bet.

A game and 78 points behind 7th spot Aussie Pride and if by some million to one chance he snuck to 7th, he then has to front CCat.

100 to 1 dividend looks extremely attractive for a billion to 1 scenerio.

What size wagers are you taking and by any chance are you like one of those old style picnic races type bookies, who wore a fake cast around their leg and then make the "quickest of getaways/disappearing acts" if they had to pay up
