I fail to see any statement he made which "jinxed" you. And now you'll know the price of having one player eat up your entire team salary.

Yay! To know that I have that sort of power over your team... I feel pretty proud. Now you get to pay 160k for the two+ weeks he is injured and he doesn't even get to play (In my defense, you could have sold him like I suggested), but then maybe one of your other players would have gotten hurt... O.o The matrix continues

I'm thinking 16 is a bit high if you want to go that far before training the other skills. I'd do it more gradually, maybe 10 or 12 first then the other skills, otherwise it will take very long before he's useful in games. I'd also try and train his IS (assuming you want to make him an SG with some inside game too) whenever possible, since training secondaries will be harder later on.

I disagree... I had a similar training plan, and my players were still quite useful in games.

Check my roster. I am specifically talking about Luwa marks and goodrich

Oh no, I meant 16 combined for HA, DR. Not 16 of both. Sorry.

hey guys
i just bought a new trainee

i think his pritty nice and i would like to make of him PF.
might even go for SF, but for now PF is the direction.

Age: 19
Height: 6'7" / 201 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: inept ↑ Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: mediocre
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: average Free Throw: atrocious

Experience: atrocious

i have 2 more trainees that train on guards posts.
i thought i'll train him OD, little JS, PA and HA and the next 2 years and will go for inside skills.

whats do you guys think?
a training regim would be nice :)

thank you.

Training his secondaries first is a good idea. Here is a training regime I would recommend:

OD to 9
HA/PA to 8
PA to 8 or 9
JS to 7 (this will be helped by 1v1)

After this, you can decide to tweak his guard skills some more, or move onto inside skills.

ID to 5
IS/ID to 7
Rotate IS/ID/REB (you can add SB to this if you want it)
