lol, if u haven't noticed I played with scrubs the whole season didn't make any purchase up til this morning... I just can't succeed on tanking in this private league... or u've been infecting everyone except for me...

While it has only been hinted at a lot over the last day it seems that it will surprise no-one to hear that team IV.7 is making a personel change.

Out is peaceNroll coached by ezlife

In is Kynlala Knights (nee Apple BC) coached by Iwen

ezlife is going to university this year and will be super busy and so has offered his place to Iwen who has accepted. All the current foundation members of IV.7 have agreed to this and so in record time it has happened. Iwen is rebuilding as you all know and will not be able to dominate the league as much as he would have with his old team which puts my fears of him just totally dominating everyone to rest.

He also agreed ages ago to run the MVP voting next season so this should give him extra incentive to do it well.

This will go a long way to addressing the imbalances between the two federations. XBB is losing Vis Maior and gaining The Pwnage so a slight gain at most while IV.7 is losing Aussie Hammers and peaceNroll and gaining Western Titans and Kynlala Knights an utterly massive improvement.

Looking forward to next season already!

so is that how the iv7 pack works... force the weakest chains in the link out to bring in better stronger sturdier steel..
im pretty sure with uni and stuff he will be too "busy" to play BB lol.

i hope ezilife turns against iv7 like aussie hammers has, two informants are better then one =P

As a result of a recent, shall we say unusual situation, Xerxes has decided to take a season off and will not be participating in our wonderful league next season. This makes me both sad to see an original league IV.7 player take a step back, but also joyful, as now we have the opportunity to recruit a stone cold killer to really bring it to the XBB.

This highly secret information I am now ready to reveal for the first time (well it should be the first time if a certain bigfishy could keep his gills to himself) that the new member of the IV.7 Calamari will be...drumroll...

It seems the theme of our team is to be 1-0 in the division III finals, we have 5 of the 16 teams in all of Australia that are in that situation. Statistically we all probably wont all win but it is an exciting time. Potentially PossumPete could be the only competing IV.7 team not in division II next season. However the season after we somehow need to make room for ezlife, ezyfrag and Xerxes at least and possibly Kangle4 and Neeber too.

We have done our best to make the two teams much more balanced this season and are looking forward to a much tighter and more intense competition.

That is great, City Celtics is a great team and was one of the teams I feared back when I was in div3. It was his own undoing that I was fortunate enough to promote to div2 and be in this position.

It is also a deep loss for us all cos we do not get to enjoy the antics of the Immortals anymore. But I'm sure he will still continue to follow these forums and add a few meaningful words once and in while.

With all you guys in div2, I'm pretty certain you will wipe us clean in the EPL style format (no playoffs). So yes it will be a lot tighter and more intense cos every game actually counts now and tanking games will be frowned upon. =P

The way I see it is this... even if XBB are not the favourites anymore we will give it our all... if we go down we will go down kicking and screaming..

4 seasons of our BB career all comes down to this moment
