Well done!

With a win next week there are a few other games that can generate an even higer position in the standings.

EST (6-1 +217) vs. CRO (6-1 +175) - the loser gets 2 losses.
TUR (6-1 + 259) vs. CAN (4-3) CAN (WR 13) must win to avoid elimination.
CZE (6-1 + 255) vs. ENG (6-1 + 126) ENG could win by a slim margin to get CZE 2 losses (please?)
MLY (3-4 +53) vs. BUL (6-1 +193) BUL will probably win but MLY (WR 17) should atleast put up a fight.

So if SWE win by a large margin there is a possibillity to climb to p 7

Nice overview. 8th rank would be already enough to get 2 home games. There could also be another team from behind, which gets a hige +dif and could surpass us... Slovenia. So we will see what happens. Barbados has nothing to lose, they play at home and this is the classic foundation for a certain way of play.
But if the team can play like yesterday, we should get a good result.

It took a bit longer in BB than Freekick... But now that you found the groove, I honestly think we could expect 1-2 NT-players from Hårdboll on a regular basis...

Well played sir - well played.

Aaaaannnnddddd we finished at 11th rank. Quite good:)
Our first opponent is Germany. Hmm, not the best opponent but we have to deal with them now. They are in a strong Game Shape and will challenge our team to its maximum. Our advantage is the home court. I won't talk to much about the game. Falke will read this forum (Hey Falke ;) ) so I will be quite.

Please keep the game shape high. If we have a perfect run, the next five weeks will be the most important ones of this season. Time to start rolling

I hope so too. The game against Germany will be hard. I am down to five different line ups now So let's wait until Sunday and see what happens. Birgersson will miss this game -.- Got injured and is out for two weeks. That has a bad taste.

Just for fun:
The road to a possible finale would be Germany - Italy - Chile - Greece - Spain... yeah, nothing easier than one powerhouse after another ;)

Game 9: Sweden 87 - Germany 99

Our first KO game was our last. Despite playing at home and with more effort, Germany got the win. On top Falke guessed after the injury of Birgersson the right focus.
Säfen had one of his worst games (his defender did all he could to help him with that) and the points from Smol and Gustavsson weren't enough in the end.

You managers did everything I asked during the last seasons. You trained all the right players, the right skills and sacrifised your team efforts for the NT. Looking at the team I see a deep player pool and really strong players. Going from this point onwards, there is one factor left which is responsible for the failures. From my point of view, this factor is me. Maybe I'm too blind now (because of the long run) or running to deep in one direction. I think something has to change and a new approach is needed. And I'm a hindrance for that.
Because of this I won't candidate for the post of NT manager anymore. The team is young (enough) to give a new NT manager enough time to shape it to his/her desire. There are young prospects who move up to the NT. Thanks to your training there are other options.
I enjoyed the seasons with you and I want to thank you for the trust. Nonetheless I couldn't reach what I set as a target.
For the next weeks I will arrange the scrimmages and run some rotations. I will update the player pool and post one last overview about the guys.
Maybe one of you swedish managers wants to take over and be more successful than I was. I really hope, that you can get the real potential out of the team.

Germany is a strong team, I dont think you should quit at all because of this loss. Im sure most Swedish managers agree with me here, its been fun reading the updates and we do have a pretty good team going forward.
