well ASW is almost upon us, i figure it will be a bit of fun if we post who we think should be the All-Star teams this season

Big 8

pos/starter/backup

PG - Inayet Hürriyet - Gianluca Ferri
SG - Neil Tambyraja - David Chan
SF - Gniewosz Sznajder - Manuel Escolano

had to mae some hard decisons but there you go. going by the stats and the seasons they have had so far that would be my Big 8 all-star team. Some very good players missing out on suiting up but what can you do

maybe yoda can make sure you can join the fishbowl next season.

skyhook also, along with Brett if he wants a piece of the action.

was almost ready to resign to the thought of never getting in. :(

This is a great post Yoda.. Exactly where i was at the end of last sesaon... Was definitely throwing away good money.. now i have the lowest salary in the league, and making a tidy profit every week, and my sole focus is to avoid relegation.. the fact i am challenging for PO's at the moment is unbelievable, but dont expect to be there come seasons end.

some fantastic games tonite! no upsets and 3 teams stay in the race for 4th in the blue... a nice POINTS diff nite for the plebs should help them win that race.
Game of the day : Beasts vs ACT, was close all game until the beasts pulled away in the 4th

For the Dreamers, we see Sammydog as a potential relegation battle opponent.. Indarto shut down Chan completely, it was only after he was injured Chan became somewhat effective and led us to the W.

training stam this week, so minutes not important

Thanks for the appraisal Bainsy,

I have only just heard of the fishbowl/s recently and would like that, I am currently in the worst PL ever, every team is in the top 1000 in the world and just destroy me each game..

Ha, yeah would've liked to watch mine, Congrats Neebs, I figured it would be close with what looks to me like your OD made the big difference.. I will have to add another string or 2 to my bow so I can make it hard for you to anticipate what I am going to play. Good work blue side, red side home games next time round so can the blue stop the same happening away from home??

Well I am not an expert on this league but I will say this. In the Great 8 it is 75% ACT and 25% Many Men, everyone else should be following plan B. In the Great 8 it is harder because there are several good teams but you have to look at if you can deal with the amazing guard play (and getting better every week) of the Beasts. Obviously it is worth it for the Hippos and Plebs to hang in there because one stumble by the Beasts and it will be them.

Finally teams like Skyhooks and Rangas are in such an interesting position. At least one of them will make the playoffs and a short term speculation in a dominant player or two would make things really interesting, but barring that there is my 4-5.

So you guys like predictions, here are mine.
