We are still working on a way to add the tactics influence to the formulas.
Do you have any idea how you would like to see that implemented ?

is is possible to include the age of the players?

then you have a better view of where your young players need training..

If anyone want to use the updated formulas without downloading a new version of BBS just edit the file configuration.txt (it is located in the same folder as bbs.exe) and copy the formulas into the file, save it and restart BBS:

pf=([is]+[id])*0.2+([rb]+[bl])*0.15+([dr]+[pa])*0.1+([js]+[ha])*0.05
pg=([ha]+[pa])*0.231+([od]+[dr])*0.154+([js]+[jr]+[is])*0.077
c=([is]+[id]+[rb])*0.231+[bl]*0.154+([ha]+[pa])*0.077
sg=([ha]+[pa])*0.154+([js]+[jr])*0.231+([dr]+[od]+[is])*0.077
sf=([js]+[jr]+[od])*0.154+([ha]+[pa]+[dr])*0.115+([is]+[id])*0.077+[rb]*0.038

Thanks YYMan!

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

great job..I love it!
only a question: why in the formulas don't you consider game shape?

As JackTheShark wrote earlier , we don't really know how to use the game shape in the formulas. If you have an idea we would love to hear it.

If you have changed the formulas to something better please share them here.

I would say make it a small overall factor.

Respectable is default so with resp shape stats *1.
Then we have strong something like * 1.07 and proficient something like * 1.14
Average * 0.93
Mediocre * 0.86
Inept * 0.79
Awful * 0.72
Pitiful * 0.65
Atrocious * 0.58

Just a guess.
