In alot of cases you are totally right, but the big factor will be match ups and tactics. Both can make a world of difference.
If you look thru my games you will see Maja has matched up against players that out level him significantly and he has held his own.
People here often forget there is more than one way to build a player and a team.

i also got a PF with low OD, and till now he is outmatched in pretty rare cases even if the other guys also have od in addtiton to their Jumpshot :) For me the effect isn't that high, more ID and more OD at the pos 1-3 is in my eyes moe usefull even to avoid the outside shots from the four.

I can post countless examples of 'balanced' builds at PF completely owning PF's that are more mono skilled guys.
I guess we just agree to disagree. With the new changes to the salary structure you are sure to see more and more balance. Like I said a sensational X6 will have a relatively low salary and be a real threat, only time will tell I guess.

but i would train passing handling first to 12 then OD, which is especially with size hard to get ;)

must have both of them .....
most of manager think SF should have ID and OD ,but actually this very hard .. so i suggestion u can train different SF face to different team ...

If you check the market all around SF's are the most expensive players to buy. I actually looking for an SF i have 5M to spend but i still cant find one that fits my needs...
