What would be the difference if you stopped fouling intentionally if you are losing anyway?

Point difference for league standings

If my players continue to foul I get at least the chance to injure one of the opponents players, that would be a great satisfaction for me and make the loss less painful.

Sorry man,I don't understand your way to think the game.
Sometimes you might even get some miracle situations where you foul a player he misses both free throws you make a three, same on the next posession and the outcome of the game is still open - I think it does not hurt to commit some "useless" fouls, so why do we need to fix this?

If you read well my message,I just said the same thing;sistematic foul should be more flexible,if you go down by 7 or 8 your coach should stop sistematic foul unless you partially close the gap(-4,-5,-6) to make reasonable again this tactic

And it should work differently for single-elimination games(PO,Cup and B3) when your team however had to continue with sistematic foul because you don't have to care about point differential

Point differential seems to be a very weak argument, most leagues I know dont have close differentials and most teams differ from the next placed team in the 80-100 points range... Maybe thats a relevant point for a few teams in the whole game, I personally have never seen any situation where the point differential was crucial.

I can live with that, as it is the same risk for everybody (who has a lineup almost equal to his opponent) - in this game we rarely see close games compared to the mass of blowouts +10-20 wins that occur every day due to the imbalanced rosters. I think this is a very marginal case to happen and I wonder why you are picking exactly this single (ironic) comment I made...

This is irrelevant. There is no "coach" in your staff. There is only a trainer.

The "coach" is the AI built-in to the game engine that makes decisions you are not able to during the game. Please try to understand the post before making irrelevant responses.

Sounds like I got sabotaged twice by my own coach.

You weren't sabotaged in the last game,AI coaching about fouls in the last minutes is generally not so good in BB,but this time your coach make the right decision

To go in the bonus in the final minutes if you are down in the score is a good idea,because then you can chose if defend or foul on the worst adversary FT shooter depending how develop the game...your adversary didn't go on the free throw line with last foul of the sequence,but when then sistematic foul starts because you were down by 5 after the 3-point-made by your adversary on 74-79

No. The three point shot you're referring to came after 4 straight fouls that put the opponent in the bonus. The very next foul, on the possession after the 3, sent him to the line. My point is prior to those 4 straight fouls, it was a 2 point game with over a minute left. There was no need to put him in the bonus. The 3 point shot he managed to squeeze out was inconsequential because it happened after what I'm saying was questionable coaching.

I just lost my last playoff game on the road because my coach benched my starters when I was up by 8. Well they went on a 10-0 run to end the game and my coach didn't put my starters back in with 12 seconds left.

So again I don't want to hear your problems.


You can quite easily not hear my problems by not visiting the thread. Go cry about your loss on your own thread.

Thats so Nigel de Jong in Holland ethics???

But that would harm you aswell, lets say his next opponent is the number 1 and he is 2 and your three,
since you just hospitalized hald his roster he is gonna loose from the number one who goes up and makes the gab wider with you...
Yeah he looses his game but you loose more points on the number one

What i do want is a flagrant foul system, twice in one game is out for now but why not suspend the dude for 2 games after his second FF and if he repeats it again in the season, well 4 games end so on
