I'm going to go against the grain of
almost everyone in some ways and a few in other ways.
What no one has come to realise is that, firstly, Ozzy, the troubles you're having are not limited to you. If you have this problem,
EVERYONE has this problem. Therefore, at this point in time, the answer is simply that you, and others in your position, are not dealing well with the strategies needed to be successful in this game.
This leads me to my next point: "the strategies needed to be successful in this game". Everyone knows that the following is from the home page of BB:
"BuzzerBeater is an online basketball simulation game that pits you against other managers across the planet. Play head-to- head against other challengers, employing strategic game play and statistical analysis."
Please let it be clear that I enjoy the game as it is. However, I would enjoy it a lot more if it more closely followed how it is advertised. A small part of the success of the game comes from basketball analysis. The
largest influence of success is learning and utilising the trading system, and to a smaller degree the training system. This
is not basketball management simulation.
When I first started playing this game, I sat for literally hours and scoured all the statistics from all of my competitors, read about the strategies in the game rules and forums, and changed tactics over and over again. This is what I thought the game was about.
Now, I sit on the TL and wait for crazy deals to jump out and anxiously await for the Friday update to observe the pops my trainees have achieved (which I then strategise about where they need to be trained further and how much they might be able to fetch on the TL). In fact, one of the only reasons I got supporter was so that I could use the bookmarking function.
This
is not basketball management simulation. Don't get me wrong, it's an enjoyable game, but it would be so much more enjoyable if the product did what it said on the packet.
