1. Ro be honost, I hate how Yi's abilities are so the only time i would be using him is in a RnG offense. Not a chance in a LIuntil his PA/DR/HA/IS are up. Also i will be listening to all the community when making my decisions for games.

2. Its all in lower case bacause im smallfries ;).

I love driving but a player has to have other good abilities too to be on the time. I do think driving is a huge ability have in any offense and for my ideal player they would have a lot of driving. Problem with that at this level is if you have a lot of driving it may take away from.having other good abilities because of the lack of time to train.

of course. my ideal player would have a lot of everything to phrase the question better/more seriously, what's your hierarchy for offensive guard/SF skills based on importance? if it's js/jr/pas first, then hnd/drv, do you have a reason for it? since everyone seems to play LI and RNG, I'm interested to know whether you (or any of the candidates) have any ideas that could give the USA a long-term tactical advantage if applied to individual trainees and eventual competitive tactical philosophy.

Here is how I rate the overall each ability....JS/PA/DR/HD/JR. This of course can change depending on the type of player we may need though. As far as long term tacticle advantage, I dont want to say much here in case other guys from other countries.are looking at this. We can talk on the offsite more about this if you would like.

Question to all candidates:

How do you plan to sacrifice success for your club team for the greater good of the U21 team?

JR is last for the cost reasons as well as it taking a while to train. Dont get me wrong though i would love a player on the team with high JR...i even trained my own...but i just believe the others cab provide you with the scoring needed beside having high JR.

As far as the question about niche players....If i am elected coach i will make sure the best players are on the team. That may mean a playet is a niche player or he can do multiple things. Ive already been looking at what we have in the pipeline amd we have a mix of players. I feel there are 4 types of niche player: Pure defensive, pure shooter, pure passing guard, pure rebounder. Those players will find their spots on the team but wont comprise the whole roster. It never hurts to have players with the same skill set. Just like this past season I bet Rambo would have loved to have 2 players with the same skillset like Jimmie Brown. Maybe we couls have run more outside offense then. As manager we have to take the hand we are dealt do the best we can to make a roster that will win and I'm confident that I can do that.

Italy beat Poland because Poland throughout the tournament played a big at SF, and in that game Italy played a SG at SF. That doesn't reflect much in the match ratings but that SF was the leading scorer and probably made the difference. That SG also probably had decent guard ID(8 or 9) which limited the big at SF from also dominating. Another reason is Italy had a 19 Reb guy on their team that helped in that game.

Before the schedule was released I would have said Brasil, Canada, and Chile. Of course does that mean we can be beat by other teams? Sure. But those three teams are ones we'll have to study for with greater attention. Now seeing our schedule we only play Canada and Chile round 1, and not until the last two weeks. We start the season with 3 cakewalks. That allows additional time to call up 12 and play with those while we look for the stable GS players during the next 3 weeks.

1.I'm looking for my specialty guys. 1 R@G SG's, 2 LI PG, 1 ID/Reb specialist, 2 IS/ID specialist, and depending on our personnel 1-2 SF's. Then I'll continue there with the 15/15/15 type bigs, and combo guards to help with the depth. Those will be my 1st 12. Also GS is the most important factor when picking players for the. The next is actual skill set. There has been dozens of instances where the U21 or NT needs 1 guy to be called up due to various reasons and 95% of the time the best 9 GS guy wins over the best overall.

2.Use no more than 2 normals during the America's season.

3. I could do two things, and probably will if necessary. I will approach nicely and nudge them about GS, and why it is so critical for both the U21 and their club. If that doesn't work than I'll tell them I can't play them, and that they'll lose some merch because they'll be sitting on the bench, and that merch money lost will be damning to their club, and could set them back. Hey I don't have to be nice 100% of the time. People respect fear more than they respect respect.

4.I love questions like these. My ideal player would be something similar to B-Rod last season. I love players like him. 12/7/14/10/13/7 10/9/8
That's 90 I think.
