legitmate question - how do you find the transfer market for a polish player being affected by the number of polish users?

ie: More users = more trainee's = greater supply = lower prices?

and the other theory being that, there is only one U21 side. In a small country, you have more chance of your crappy player being in the U21 team, so on the transfer market, a worse player may sell for more, compared to a larger market, where you may have an awesome player, but there are 10 others like him.

Or is it just not like that in reality?

with out giving to much away your on the right frame of mind.

ill add a few things though

if you have one of those new fish from a big sea he may not be very valuable unless his one of the best raised fish from a big sea , in that case he becomes more valuable to a larger amount of fishermen that want a local fish.

a new fish in a small sea however starts more valuable due to the scarcity of fish in that sea and while he will become more valuable then 90% of the fish in the big sea aslong as all fish skills are equal he will never surpass the fish from the bigger sea in price.

your hinting on something alot of managers have not clued in on yet :)

+1 ball for making me feel so smart.

its just like any economic market really. The transfer market has its peak periods where a player will be over priced.... and a player of a certain age will fetch a different value in certain times as opposed to other times.

there are good/bad times to buy/sell etc etc.

zyler is just taking it to that next level.

think about this example. All 18 year old MVP is going to sell for roughly the same (unless they have just straight up dodgy stats)... when it boils down to it, he has MVP potential....... But once he is 20/21, dependant upon how he has been trained, not all MVP potential players are going to be the same.
So, an 18 year old MVP has the 'potential' to be great, and hence is a better' guarantee' at high sale price, when compared to a 20 y/old MVP good but not quite so good MVP player.
Statistically speaking, if you took the average sale price of 18 year old MVP players, and compared the standard deviation (ie: the difference between cheapest to most expensive) and compared that to 20 year old MVP average sale price standard deviation... you would find a smaller deviation on the 18 year olds.
And thats how some people roll. They would rather sell their MVP trainee, than risk trying to train him, stuff up the training and then have to sell a partially trained 21 year old MVP.
Not suggesting that Zyler would stuff up the training.

but yer, lots of different scenario's like that. The fishy example that zyler gave is just the next level upon that example I gave.

im not there yet!

still lots of challanges lie ahead for this season.

u gotta remember, there are two teams here who have enough cash to buy a DIV II equivilent team 2 weeks before the playoffs and blow everyone else outta the water.

maybe they will be kind enough not to do that though ;)
