My League is too uncomepetitive, only me Bode-Diggity Dogs (whos probably oing into debt cause of Buer) 76ersss Chicago Scrappers, Dundalk DoubleDribblers, Cometahalley (My league buddy) and the hawks are active. 5 new users are coming this week, so me and my V.89 friend are gonna try to persuade them to be league/forum active. Don't worry, you won't see Weinstein, Roche in D4. Maybe even Conroy. And I'm gonna go for a 15-20k 2 skilled SG Replacement for Mikey Johnson (Johnson will turn into a backup) N I will save up the cash for him. I want a guy like this:

JS: 11-14
JR: 8-10
OD: 13-16
HA: 7-9
DR: 9-11
PA: 7-10
IS: 5-8
ID: 3-7
REB: 3-6
SB: 3-6
ST: 6
FT: 9-12

or somewhat like him. This will be after my somewhat tanking season I think.

Zero All-Stars for me, this year.

I'm curious though, does conference standing play a large part in the voting?

Also along the same lines, is it feasible where the 8th place team in a conference can end up having a player make the All-Star team? I can't ever recall that happening out of all the leagues I've been in.

I won't. Worrying about your team isn't really my thing.

Yes, an 8th place team can have a player make the All-Star team. Though I am sure that that player would have to put up number similar to a dominant player in a Patient offense.

I'm in 6th place in D.IV, and I got two all-stars. While the third place team got zero. So, I dont know, but the all-star game is to recognize the best players, not the best team. So, I guess it's possible to get a player from the 8th place team.

Ya, the guys are right... Think about LeBron at the Cavs, the team was bad, but LeBron was still putting out MVP numbers, as long as the player is putting out good numbers, doesnt really matter how the team is doing, although sometimes a top player may not have great games cuz of the rest of the team...

Im guessing he is on the stat board for the league at least in one category?

Lebron racks up the points ever since that lost to the Mavs............hey maybe he'll slow down after he got his first ring? and score now 20 pts a gme instead of 26?
