But the salary difference between Deng and Butler is 13Mil next season!!!! Butler starts at SF, and buy a SG for 13mil, Hamilton comes of the bench.
Which SG in the league wouldn't want to play on a roster that has :
PG Rose
SG ?
SF Butler (avg 16/8 last week or so)
PF Boozer
C Noah
Bench : Hinrich/Hamilton/Gibson
Coach : Tibs

You don't think Nate Robinson will stay?
I reckon they should get a SF and make Jimmy come off the bench. Need experience for the playoffs and Jimmy might not cut it in those important games.
Jeff Teagues brother, Marquis Teague could develop to replace Hinirich one day.
Who can they trade Deng for though? Granger? Kobe?

As much as that sounds like a great idea, Kobe to the Bulls, I can't see it happening. How about Tyreke Evans from Sacramento? He needs a change and still fairly young, could be a good role player alongside Rose.

he would be great alongside Rose, but surely the kings wouldn't be dumb enough to trade him

Dallas Mavs ruined your day it seems.
Tyreke Evans alongside Rose is bad cos they both need the ball in their hands in be effective. What the bulls need is a defensive specialist or a spot up shooter in the SG position.

Yeah, I almost took the Mavs. Oh well, $5 was set to be $165.
I think Tyreke could work in Chicago, but he would have to be willing to take a back seat to Rose (unlikely), he would be good as a 6th man like Harden was in OKC, maybe the Bulls can get Batum or Mayo?

Btw, if anybody is interested in joining Betfair. I find it gives better odds than any other betting website because you can be the bookie! Makes for some very interesting odds. Great for phone betting too, nice and fast.
Use my referral code "LD6XPVAPU" and you'll get a free $50 once you've placed $50 worth of bets (win or lose).
Not a bad deal for both parties

Any bets on the NBA today?
Big games would be Utah vs Memphis and Lakers vs Houston.
The Stakes
If the Jazz lose to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Lakers are in the playoffs and Utah is not.
If the Jazz beat the Grizzlies but the Lakers beat the Houston Rockets, the Lakers are in the playoffs and Utah is not.
If the Jazz beat the Grizzlies and the Lakers lose to the Rockets, Utah will be back in the playoffs for the second straight year and L.A. will miss the postseason for the first time since 2004-05, because Utah holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Lakers by virtue of winning the season series between the two teams, two games to one.
The best the Jazz can finish is No. 8 in the West. However, if the Lakers beat the Rockets, they'll not only make the playoffs, but vault over Houston into the No. 7 spot — while the two teams would have equal 45-37 records and would have tied their season series at two games apiece, the Lakers would finish with a superior record against Western Conference opponents (28-24, compared to Houston's 24-28 mark). This tiebreaker would bump the Lakers up to the No. 7 seed and put Houston at the bottom of the conference bracket.
