Mr. Cake,
When will you cut your 21yo's so Bahamas may challenge?

I see your invite, Mr. Cake. However you still have 21yo's on your roster and potentially +1 ENT. Being that there was this little issue a while ago called "Pearl Harbor" (Never Forget), we'll need some assurances you won't break out the fossils. Neutral court in Africa?

The most idiotic post I have ever read in BB.
1st. I am an American living in Japan.
2nd. Why would you post anything about WWII on a Japanese forum? It's 2013 and Japan is America's #1 Ally. I live in the future where it seems like you are stuck in the past.

Even if it's tongue-in-cheek... as I said: impolitic.

Best making these types of communications via BBmail.

Apologies for the offense, guys.

I do realize this is a 'Japanese' forum but since we are speaking in English, I thought it was implicit you are mostly ex-pats and/or army brats.

Again, accept my apologies for the failed attempt at humor in such bad taste. It wasn't representative or endorsed by any of the Bahamian managers.

The offer still stands for the scrimmage. I respect the team your staff has built over the last few seasons and would appreciate the test. This week's slot has already been filled but next week would be great. Neutral site.

You're correct on the ex-pats (I'm Australian), but I don't think any body (active) here has Army connections - could well be wrong there. But I do know that those of us here are all proud of the adopted flag we wear... thus the cold reaction to the comment.

Kudos for standing up and apologising about it tho'.

I'm a non ex-pat european living in Japan and my homecountry Switzerland (from next year Japan forever), my wife is japanese (her father was old enough in WW2 to be trained as a Kamikaze pilot). I had to stay in the swiss army for over a decade (way back then while the cold war you would go to prison if you don't), I don't like military heads AT ALL... I'm proud of the adopted flag and as mentioned before, very useless post about Pearl Harbour, even if it was meant to be funny. Never look back...

No thanks on the scrimmage. Without my 21 yr olds I would only have 6 players. The team I have chosen to scrimmage has the same problem. I will start U-20s and will bring the 21 yr olds off the bench.

Thanks for hearing me out, guys. While all this ex-pat/adopted business is on the table, I wanted to ask (as a manager) what is the level of participation from the non-english speaking teams? Are they pretty active and training?

On a good day, Bahamas has 2-3 active teams. 2 of them train consistently. We have one draft, rest of the prospects are late season saves that are way behind. I've had to put my own money out (D3 USA is not exactly bizzilionaires) to release players to the market. This approach has been successful, which included spending $300k on my current #3 trainee A. Gale-Sewell (31773677). He is currently a 19yo MVP with 49 (21/28) up from 41 when I first bought him and ended up in a bid war that drove his price way higher than he was worth.

Your country generally has 20+ active teams listed so that's enough for at least two leagues. My wonder is if the grass is truly greener on the other side.

@Mr.Cake - Too bad on the scrimmage. Though I was curious about my S26 lineup going against an Andou-free squad. He obliterated us back in S24 (25600). Our squad was a whole different animal back then so I wanted to see the progression. I do see he's injured though. Would love to see how we match up in S26 to compare the new development. Maybe the first game of the new season, if we're both still in office.

@Malice - Have you seen Kobe's new 40+ mill extension at work? Thoughts? ;) http://youtu.be/jhFqSlvbKAM

@Anybody Also, Wolph in Pakistan? Seems so.....right.
