Yep. Nice win. Your CT enthusiasm was one key difference, as were your game plan hits (+2) and his game plan miss...guessing and missing is worse than not having planned at all.

My Cup run ended. I'm left wondering if I should have played Castaneda instead of Alvarado, but still a competitive game. Not going to lose sleep over it. But the happy byproduct is now I can concentrate on the wins and get those scrubs trained a little bit.

Looked at the new staff feature (you can hire a player on your team as staff). For a World Renowned trainer, the purchase price is $3.5M and a starting salary of $50K. I'm guessing that the salary increases like a normal staff member, but they don't mention anything about what happens with salary...that's not that bad a deal. Don't worry though, I'm not going to blow my bankroll on that. I might start getting tempted when I get near the $18-20M range, because that will probably be when I start turning my current team over.

Also I was think what age i should stop training some of my players as I was thinking about drafting a power forward or center so I could build my inside game back up. It is what I used to do before but all of my bigs got old and so i sold them. I haven't drafted a player of high calibur like mccready and wanted to make sure I did it right :D

The age of a player determines training speed. They slow down a lot around 23 years old. This is a very common age to sell players because they won't experience skill drops until about 30 so you have 7 seasons with that players skills.
As for fan familiarity, selling players frequently will cause this to drop. It takes a full season with the same players and regular starters to get this back up. Go to your Roster and look at the Role of your players. The more frequently you start or sub a player the higher their role will go. I have 5 players that I start the first 2 games and the rest get their minutes balanced in the scrimmage. The most important players get Key Player role, then Regular starters, rotation, and backup. Try to get a player to Key status.

Unfortunately my key player is 37 and losing skills fast. So next season or the season after I will probably sell him

I've seen guys continue to get pops up to age 32-33, but it definitely slows down after 28. Depending on trainer type, if you use a career longevity guy, you can slow the skill drops for a year. Yep, after 35, skills can start dropping.

I finally bought an Exceptional trainer and his salary was only an additional $10k from my last one. Plus I scored him for only $19k.
My trainees have been getting a minimum of 1 pop per week since I started training. I wanted more than what they are getting but I can't be picky. I'm sure they are getting more than the average trainers in league IV anyway.

I picked up an advanced PR manager with crowd involvement specialty with $15K salary. That should hopefully boost attendance and gate receipts, and see more games around 20K!

Trainer is next, but I need to find the time to actually be able to sit and watch the market for the best opportunity.
