This is the answer I got on the Help forum:

Did Romanelli win it? He won because in the event of a tie, the amount of 3 pointers scored during regular season would be the tie breaker iirc. That's why he got into the next round despite tying in the first round.

That one was weird, and motivate taking down MCC (and of course, Im upset about my loss but doesn't really count as an upset).

Definitel a weird game day.

Thanks. Having a real big instead of the run of the mill 10k D4 big men apparently makes a big difference. Should have gotten one of those sooner

Yea very weird, I played my draftees to get them some training, I guess I didn't have enough fire power in other positions to compensate for their lackluster performance

I mean, it was a unimportant loss - I'm not gonna catch you so your seeding likely will stay the same?

Not really

I barely beat him first go round. HCS and BNH both trounced me. There is a good chance to could move up to 2nd or 3rd. That would be a big difference.

Yep. 3rd gives us a shot to move deeper into the playoff, however the top teams from both conference will likely play in the championship.

By this point, I suspect we all know where are teams rank. BNH is the clear cut favorite to win. GRE are a notch below them. ANC may have bought themselves into contention. But I'd be pretty shocked if we don't see a BNH-GRE final.

Thought I would share some of the league leaders from the Buzzer Manager stats.

Top rated players in the league

Player Team PP GP MPG AR AE
1. Ucha Burjanadze WCH PF 13 34.4 16.1 33.2
2. Vizak Balliu THE SG 15 33.2 15.8 20.4
3. Will Butler HCS SG 15 36.3 15.5 24.9
4. Alessandro Scola THE PG 11 36.5 15.4 21.3
5. Joachim Lämmerhirt HCS PG 15 31.2 15.3 18.4

Top players by efficiency

Player Team PP GP MPG AE E48M AR
1. Ucha Burjanadze WCH PF 13 34.4 33.2 46.3 16.1
2. Will Butler HCS SG 15 36.3 24.9 32.9 15.5
3. Roberto Scaletti GRE PF 15 32 24.6 36.9 14.7
4. Henryk Zubel LAK SG 13 32.2 23.2 34.6 14.2
5. Xabier Caramallo GRE PG 15 35.7 22.8 30.7 14.1

FG% leader
Gaël Donnet Shrugging Shlubs 60.3%

3P %
Mikey Whittaker Harbor City Storm

Steals
Xabier Caramallo Green Bay Gunners 2.6/game

It is interesting that BNH doesn't have many players in the top 5 of any category. But the team leads where it counts. Opponents points scored (69.7/game). Scoring differential (29.6). Opponents FG % (29.6). Opponents Efficiency/game (58.5).

If defense wins championships, he's on the right track.

Of course the forum screwed up the table making it hard to read. Sorry about that. Looked perfect when I wrote this.
