Ok fair enough,
Though looking at your boy he is a PF and 6"8', my thought is the ideal your SF would be about 6"6' to get the most out of both big and smalls training?
Iwen, do you have an idea of where each potential roughly caps out?

He trained guard skills just fine in my experience.
He has the OD to guard all but the highest tier of SGs and PGs in Australia, like my own boy (McArthur). He doesn't have any skill under respectable as well..
Potential capping can vary a lot... Depending on where the skills are distributed.

Cool, I am sure just looking at him and being on the NT he is a quality player..
So the player in question, [17864822], if crossed trained to become an SF, where would you think he could get to? Having seen his current stats I would expect he could easily become a 30k a week player in 3 seasons.

It's hard to tell, depends where the skill points are distributed...

Fair enough,
It's fun speculating anyway, half this game is about the dream of how good you can make your trainees.. Certainly it is for me anyway. Hopefully I will get an aussie eventually iwen I can make good enough to get on the U21s NT!

wow the dreamers dodged a bullet tonite.. C-webs Gods came out firing, and we were behind all game till the final quarter. Thomas had a dream night out for the Gods, but it was the overall depth and FT shooting that got us out of trouble in the game. Not sure if you read the forums C-web, great game.
now i am away for a while, so if you dont see me online for about 2 weeks i aint going bot, i am just without access for most of the time i am away. good luck to all, and have fun :D

I have an allstar SF currently on the U21 team (and currently injured thanks to one of those stupid deliberate fouls when there are seconds left in a game - they NEVER cause injuries in real games) and he is two pops off capping.
Mu Hongyun (16764151) Small Forward Injury! 2 weeks.
Weekly salary: $ 23 925
Age: 21
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: proficient
This injury does affect my plans but I will still finish his training this season and he will end up capped with a salary of about $ 29 937 according to my estimations. He may get some JS/1on1 training in the future after he caps depending upon the team needs but he isn't going anywhere even close to $50,000. That figure is for a monoskilled big man.

whats going on here?
My new SF is going to be very good for my team.
not sure what all the hub-bub is about.
He's already playing quite well for me. he'll get enough big training this season and next to make him more than useful.
I doubt i'll get him to his cap anyways.

you're right, and thank goodness. :P
But I'm not trying to train a bunch of superstars, Lambert and this new fella will be role players.
Gab Wall will be the face of my team til he retires I expect. Altho to afford him soon i will need to promote :P
