I don't mean any disrespect to anyone who promotes and demotes straight away. In being real I have pretty much accepted that's the best I can hope for as I am dead against tanking and would rather play the game as it was designed to be played... If every manager was destined for the ABBL they would make it big enough for a few hundred teams. The reality is the best managers have a stranglehold on it and the best of the rest go up and down between the two... But even though there is no shame in it, promoting and demoting straight away is still considered as failure...

I personally failed the first time I was in div2 but I learned from it and come back strong enough that I might even make the playoffs in a much stronger league in my first season back (ironically thanks to a tanker). If I focused on my injuries that led to my demotion I would probably bounce between the 2 leagues, but instead i focused on what i did wrong and set out to improve on it.

My issue with him is that his team peaked and won him a div2 title, then demoted and is left with an aging roster that is getting him nowhere, yet he still believes he is better than any manager in div2 and that we are all out to beat him and every subject we speak about must be about him. If you go back through you will see where he genuinely felt victimised because he didn't get HCA and that we purposely targeted him so he wouldn't be a threat. Reality is there are more active managers every season who have more access to different strategy whether it be building a list or managing their gameshape or even general tactics. His thinks he is a top level manager when really his ego is forcing him to fall behind...

I never said I was the best or the most active manager in Div 2. Clearly in our Div Iwen has an arguement he is the best.

I may need to make sure i put a footnote, or highlight somehow my posts when I am taking the mickey out of myslef or not taking myself seriously.

But it is nice to see you have studied my posts. I hope you have picked up something :P

You might have to footnote things I am meant to pick up as well. Quick glances over your posts are more study than they deserve... Since you have lost your "high and mighty" complex and still have nothing to answer my original statements with, I think you might of picked up something in mine. ;)

my whole team has taken it up the as this season

i feel so passive as i just sit here and watch iwen and snuffles fight over the championship while everyone on your side tanks

our last game vs dt doesnt matter for us at all as we are 99% locked into 3rd (as long as we dont lose by 50) then snuffles rapes us

we have no more meaningful games this season and 9 real players we are still paying a salary too - we hope someone will buy ludo and it wil be 8 soon

Impressive pick up this season mate. Strengthen your team in less than a season.

Fire is still here, tho I gotta face the true facts. I've always stated that I am in need of a rebuild, my guys are aging and not enough depth. I was pushing as far as I could this season to secure a safe spot. Still progressing on my plan to get to ABBL.

As I predicted, it's snuffies vs knights but don't leave CFH out of the picture. He has been very quiet this season by playing patient majority of the time but you can see that CFH defense isn't bad at all.

heh, I reckon you still have a chance as passing the first round. Factors like bad tactic, wrong PAN or injuries can affect the game result. Anyways, this time is where you have some fun with your team! bring some creativity into you tactics, maybe 5 SGs and FCP and R&G? for ME , maybe 5 PF with LI? I am looking forward to it!

Thanks mate. Still another couple of seasons away from a title run I would think. My foundations should be good enough to stay up while I build on what I have. My oldest key player is 24 so plenty of seasons to add to this list... Might even be competitive enough one day without tanking! :p

Switching to bigs was a good choice this season. Tho can Antoine control Duffman tonight? Duffman graduated from ghetto university with street experience all his career. He got really hot hands, averages above 50% in FG and the ability to do dunks that even blake griffin can't imitate.
