If his OD, ID, IS, RB were all 12 he would be a very useful SF for sure.
I would focus more on those 4 then doing a lot of 1on1 at this stage.

He is an outstanding prospect and a lovely height for the SF position.

Credit to you for the work your've already done.

I disagree with Mickyster slightly in that I think the four skills to focus on for him are OD, ID, IS and JS.

I dont believe that you need to get him to 12 in rebounding to be in U21s, however some work in that skill does need to be done.

Passing and JR are obviously important as well.

Interested to know if any country has changed their specifications for either U21s or open age national team, to take into account the forthcoming changes in the Game Engine.

My 3 SFs if they dont get sold out from under me in a "repo sale" will be all different because of their heights and the skill sets that they begun with, but Im inclined to thinking at the moment that I will give them more emphasis on JR than what I probably would of, if the game engine was to stay as it is

Well Harry played his 1st ever 21 scrim. If it was going to happen I would assume it would of already.

It is happening right now but it is a very long process so everyone needs to be patient while Iwen looks at all the possible prospects.

This is a general question to all Aussie managers:

Firstly, if Iwen does step down, who is seriously interested in the job? If you were my students I'd ask for a show of hands. lol However, would mangers use their fingers instead and type in their intentions. Let the Aussie community know who to start considering.

Secondly, and more importantly, what do people think are the main challenges that face the next coach of the U21 NT? I know this isn't the election forum but I can't see why we can't all have an informal chat about some of the things we, the Aussie community, feel needs to be addressed/improved/discussed regarding the U21 NT.

I will begin this with two statements to get the ball rolling:

1. Regardless of who gets the job I think it's of benefit for us to discuss some of the issues surrounding the role of U21 NT Coach earlier than usual. Otherwise, we have nominees bombarding the election forums and associated threads over a few days rather than preparing carefully considered, well thought out ideas on how to run the U21 NT. This will reduce the liklihood of the election becoming a popularity contest but instead a genuine election of a manager/team of managers who have the skills and desire to do the job.

2. While it seems impossible to have an U21 NT 'Team of managers' rather than simply a coach and his/her 'apprentices' (as ultimately, somone's name must be voted on as 'the' coach), I think the Aussie community should start thinking more seriously about creating a communal ownership of our U21 NT. By this I mean we create a structure that can be put in place and upheld from season to season, from new manager to the next. This 'structure' could outline the positions required, the roles of those positions, the expectations of players (skill sets) and the expectations of managers who have players in the team etc. At present this information kind of exists but isn't easily accessible and definately not for new managers...the future of Aussie BB. By agreeing on this information and creating a 'structure' or team template, all Aussie managers can view it, discuss it and ultimately help maintain and improve it long term.

We've heard from previous U21 NT coach's and assistants and there seems to be a recurring message: it's a big job that requires significant commitment from a number of managers. We also hear that the forums are always dead and managers struggle to maintain GS. Well, how do we address these issues? If we accept them to be true, then what can we do as a community to address them? What can 'we' put in place to limit these disruptions? What do 'we' need to have in place to help create and run a fully functional U21 'Team of managers' that will see us become successful internationally. Not just for a season or two but a powerhouse on the international stage?
