some fantastic games tonite! no upsets and 3 teams stay in the race for 4th in the blue... a nice POINTS diff nite for the plebs should help them win that race.
Game of the day : Beasts vs ACT, was close all game until the beasts pulled away in the 4th

For the Dreamers, we see Sammydog as a potential relegation battle opponent.. Indarto shut down Chan completely, it was only after he was injured Chan became somewhat effective and led us to the W.

Thanks for the appraisal Bainsy,

I have only just heard of the fishbowl/s recently and would like that, I am currently in the worst PL ever, every team is in the top 1000 in the world and just destroy me each game..

Ha, yeah would've liked to watch mine, Congrats Neebs, I figured it would be close with what looks to me like your OD made the big difference.. I will have to add another string or 2 to my bow so I can make it hard for you to anticipate what I am going to play. Good work blue side, red side home games next time round so can the blue stop the same happening away from home??

Well I am not an expert on this league but I will say this. In the Great 8 it is 75% ACT and 25% Many Men, everyone else should be following plan B. In the Great 8 it is harder because there are several good teams but you have to look at if you can deal with the amazing guard play (and getting better every week) of the Beasts. Obviously it is worth it for the Hippos and Plebs to hang in there because one stumble by the Beasts and it will be them.

Finally teams like Skyhooks and Rangas are in such an interesting position. At least one of them will make the playoffs and a short term speculation in a dominant player or two would make things really interesting, but barring that there is my 4-5.

So you guys like predictions, here are mine.

check out my ratings a fair few players over 10.0, pity they can't pull that each game.

Ahh the OD of neebs will kill me on the outside. looks like i have to address that b4 playoffs and get a bit of outside offence going to keep him accountable. because it looks like there is a fair chance i will be looking at him in the playoffs.

CRE CT'd again but wasnt fooling ranga like he did me. well done ranga

and skyhook had a scare but keeps the pressure on me.

just wondering if MM can get through are they the only team with the outside game to beat the Beasts?

Unless 1 of the big 4 ahead of me decides to pull the pin on this season, the Dreamers wont make the playoffs this year, or possibly next. I am not gonna splash out on a player to just scrape into the 4, would rather save my coin and buy an impact player that will help make the jump, not just fill a gap.

I dont count the Spartans out of beating me for 5th, especially with the return game in their home court and my somewhat shaky points difference :P Hopefully by playoffs, 1 trainee will be ready to contribute, and we can change things around a bit.

Great season so far, cant wait to see how it pans out.

No Chan in the 3 point shoot out this year :( and the man Tabor who tore apart the Blues las season is missing from the Reds lineup.

Neil may be classified as a "shooting guard" but i have been playing him as a PG all season so no surprise he got that position. My OD is good and all around Ball movement is getting better, with Kerry Gibney becoming nearly as good a player as Neil is and making sure to be present come the subs turn on court.

I am not all too confident about coming first at the end of the season but we will see. Got some decisions to make if i am going to get it. Too buy or Not to Buy??

yeh i noticed no chan. not going back to back

i am actually really suprised with how close my selections were. if i knew neil was gonna be a pg i would have had him in there and suabia as backup sg.

shattered antonio just missed out.

funny that zed's army got pg and sg... those blokes will be happy to play with some players who contribute

What's the news on your ASG? I was fortunate to have Isaak and Malbasa picked. One shiny light for me in a dull season of demoralising losses.

Looking to shore up SG after this week for my run at relegation series survival.
