Agree. Time for a new thread. Maybe BBking can redeem himself. He does seem to have done a lot of scouting although at the risk of giving malice an anuerism I will note that he hasn't scouted any of my players.

The reason I know this is relevant is Haruki Fujii (12180136) is for sale right now & when I saw him it was spooky. He has played every game I checked this season for the NT. By some amazing coincidence he has virtually identical skills to my trainee Kawagichi who is only 22 & still getting trained & still popping. It is actually incredible how close they are. Obviously Kawagichi has just a $50,000 salary right now but it will go up.

If I had to say right now which player was better I would say Fujii but it is so close & at age 28 I don't see him getting more training. He was HoF potential, what a pity he wasn't trained a little more.

Ball for the aneurysm comment. That was funny.

Thinking of picking Fujii up. I think he'd be a pretty good upgrade for my team.

So finally we won 3rd place in group (and 5-6th place in Asia Championships) and during 3 next Mondays we we will play in Repechages for World Championships.
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/world/standings.aspx?teamid=5...
What does it mean for us?
There are two scenarios. In first scenario Canada will kick our asses by ~30 points difference, then Italy will destroy us by ~50 and in last match, after good fight we will lose with Nigeria by ~10 points and we will finish with 0-3 win-lose record and ~90 negative points difference.
In second scenario we will lose all matches by 25 points, and finish with only -75 PD, if You know what I mean.

Then we will join to Consolation Tournament with 0-2 win-lose record at beginning and without chance to promote to play-offs.
So it looks like it will be very boring season for us.

Only interesting thing will be how many Japan players could I retire/kill/destroy/waste in one season (unfortunatelly my demands weren't fulfilled).
He will be first victim: (27997784)

I could point out some obvious mistakes but it will be said I am just against these tactics for an obviouis reaon.

I can somewhat agree with you but it was the other teams C that hit 3 of their 5 3's. and that was on Hayakawa with his level 1 OD. So maybe his mistake was selecting someone with level 1 OD. But then again, Japan has a small user base, so maybe that is why he is on the team. And I wouldn't use KILL when a team hits only 5 3's. I thought the worst thing was the CT. Now that was a mind blower..

So maybe his mistake was selecting someone with level 1 OD.

We don't have better bigs than Hayakawa outside NT roster. I don't like his OD however all other bigs are worse. And therefore if I have to select pitiful and awful player I select awful. In Japan we have only one big on international level. All other bigs in Japan NT are on U21 level.
There are 6 Japan players in whole BB with salary over 100k. Except Furusawa other bigs have salary = 80-100k and TSP = ~80. They are without primaries and without secondaries. Other teams on this level have players with salary over 200k with secondaries.

I thought the worst thing was the CT.

Why the worst? Without CT we would lose anyway, only PD would be worse. Without fight. What is good in competitions without fight? So CT was the best choice to have some competition today, not only execution.

This match show how weak are our players. Canada isn't top team even in America (I think Canada is 5-8th the best team in America or something like that). In today's match game shape was the same, enthusiasm was the same, tactic was the same, so only factors were skills and effort. So we can see that our skills are too low to beat similar teams even by using CT vs TIE.
