Blow a 14 point second quarter lead before half time and go on to lose by 15. Yep, that pretty much sums up how this 10.2 million dollar bastard bag of shite season has gone for me.
I can only hope that Season 32 will go better, especially since the current line-up, aside from Cicvaric and Hampshire, is running out of chances to win before the dreaded skill drops start to trigger. First order of business is to buy an upgrade for the outgoing Stokowiec. Hopefully that'll be done overnight. I would've bought Power, but his OD is a turn-off for me as I don't like giving the opposing center easy looks from deep. The replacement I currently have a bid on isn't ideal, but he is a slight improvement on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court.
Truth is, he was supposed to be a purchase I made for the play-offs with the expectation that I'd beat Kobe's two bigs and no other good players team easily, especially since it was Princeton vs 2-3 Zone which should've been an automatic win. But the game has held a grudge against me all season for some strange reason, so I guess I'll just have to pay this guy to sit around and do nothing for now... and see if I can find someone who can play SF once I get the money from my current three sales.
