i don't complain about the loss, this was a 50:50 game and someone had to loose it - in this case it was me ;) My main propose is that Flow 7 is pretty good, and from the skill requirements compareable with OD 9. The driving skills was around the handling level of the players.

For my example with the flow i take my last game:

(15527387) because the linked one(in my first post) was in the OT, and normally you get better ratings then.

Do you have a low post example that didn't go into OT? I don't have a good handle on what happens to the game ratings in OT.

did the calculation changed? To get high 7 in Flow you had very good player for the flow, i get it with

PG: 11/13(HN/PS)
SG: 13/10
SF: 8/10

I didn't say that the calculation changed. I'm just saying that while respectable flow may have been considered high in the old engine, maybe it isn't as good anymore. Also, you may consider 11/13 to be really high levels of handling/passing. However, if you consider that to get a proficient outside d in a 3-2 zone, you probably need a PG/SG with about tremendous outside d, combined with a SF who has about strong. So it sounds like the match-up is still not that great for you.

In any case, I wasn't commenting on one of your matches. I was looking at the NT match quoted above.

they could be weaker ;) Especially if you don't have a loosy enthusiam, and a high enthusiam is pretty easy to achive with the NT.

You are right - I didn't think of enthusiasm.

I do think that the answer to these questions is already in the first two messages of this thread: (112356.1) (112356.2). And yes, I have the impression that the consequences of this are quite big and that quick adaptation offers some quick competitive advantage here.

You are right, as usual :)
Just to be clear, I like the new changes to the GE, all of them: the increased importance of handling and passing, the 'real' zone defense, the rebounding... but I think it needs some fine tuning.

The problem to me is that the adaptation seems only important for inside tactics. When playing r&g you can still forget about offensive flow, as long as your shooting skills are good enough.
The impression I have is that the offensive flow (passing and handling skills) has too much impact on the shot distribution (which affects inside tactics more than outside ones) and too little impact on the shot quality (which would affect more outside shots).

In this case, the SG was actually the 2nd best option on the court, so no big surprise that he took a lot of shots. Plus you had a prominent inside shot vs a senational inside d. The outside matchup actually looks like it was better.

Care to make another try. ;-)

Ok, I might as well do some of the work. This low post seems to have worked to some extent, even though the game was lost:
