This 20 year old not worth training is some bullshit. If it is the case then it needs to be changed frankly a real player stops being trainable at about 25 and then skills decline at around 29.

Some teams do train til 25-26 if the player is good enough. The issue is if you'd like a 25 year old rookie to begin training, or an 18 year old. It is also easiest to train when they are younger (as is often the case irl as well) and so people recommend getting an 18 y/o with decent potential.
