I'd have to assume he's tanking the game tonight, or else why bother to tank your way into the relegation series in the first place? I think you should definitely TIE this game, then brainstorm some kind of plan for the tie-breaker. You could probably pick up a cheap PR guy with a National Appeal specialty too if yours doesn't have that, just to help a bit against his home court.
Gonna be a real tough win to get either way but you never know. Injuries, games where one team seems to foul all the time for no reason, other occasional GE weirdness; anything can happen when it's only 1 game. Even if the odds are against you, it's 48 minutes to decide the next 3-4 months, you gotta do what you can to give yourself a chance.
