I tried to get someone over 25 but i was too late in trying to out bid some one who had made a bid on my player. And for my team he is a good player because he has good rebounding skills and i'm planning on training him. I got him for his rebound and his inside shot.

And my arena prices is not the reason why i didn't have much money. Its because i have'nt been saving my money, if i rose my arena prices like i did before, the fans would'nt buy the tickets. Because i rose my bleacher price to $10 and most of the fans didn't come. I only had like 2900 people out of 5600 or so filling my bleacher.

When i start winning, i will raise the ticked price a little, but like i said i tried to get some oine over 25 but some one out bid me on that big man, think it was a power forward. This player that i just bought is good for my team, he's a decent scorer, he has good rebounding and a good inside shot and that's what i need especially.

I can't get veterans right now because they're in high demand and i always have to try (which is always unsuccessful) to out bid them for the higher priced veterans. This power forward that i bought has strong rebounding and proficient inside shot, and i think he'll do just fine. Just take a look at my game this thursday as he'll be my only center because i'm training him this week. I'm training centers, so please don't think i haven't tried to get a veteran, and please don't get angry me, because it was just the fact that some one out bid me on that player and i had came back too late to out bid him.

player: How about his ID?

seats: 25$ in the second row is way too low imo.

You've got players under 20 years old at every position with at least decent potential. That kind of screams "I don't have a long-term direction for my team" at an excessive volume.

If the veteran you want isn't available now, you're more than welcome to wait on the right one. Buy scrubs if you need to worry about GS management, but a GS reset is coming up soon enough and you're out of the playoffs, so that's not really even an issue now.

I'm sure I'm the 100th person to tell you this and I'm far from any sort of authority on this game, but until you have an idea of how you want your team to develop and stop just making decisions based on what seems like a good idea right now, you're not going to make progress. Pick what position(s) you want to train, and then stick to it!

Yeah i think i'll wait for players instead of what i think is best right now. I just needed a big man with a good inside shot and good rebounding very badly, especially rebounding.

As for his inside def, its really weak, mediocre, i'll have to improve his inside def. And yeah, that's what i'll do stick to one position and train it, i'm sorry guys if it seems like i haven't been listening to your advice. But believe me i have, and when i have the money i'll take all of your advice, but believe me i have been listening, it just seems like i haven't.

Here's the thing, though. Do you really need that big man that badly?

I've only glanced over your league, but I can see that you, for example, lost a TV game against a team that was on it's third owner this season. I don't know if it was game shape or injuries or bad tactics or bad players, but if you've had essentially three-fourths of a season to build a team, you shouldn't be losing to a team in their third week.

I can't speak for all V series, since I only know mine and what I've seen of yours, but I can say that it's highly unlikely that you "need" anyone badly enough to spend anything above a couple of thousand on them. Maybe trainees, if you weren't already overstocked on that aisle, but with the draft coming up that should even take care of itself. You can build a team that can compete quite well at this level quite cheaply, and then let your training program (when you settle on it) help you grow into a team ready for IV.

Rather than buying a guy for what, 60k, and then having to "improve his inside def", why not just look for guys who are already mediocre to respectable in the primary skills for their position and who are quite a bit cheaper to obtain? They're not going to be great players at all, but they'll be good enough for the time you're in V.

Yeah, i needed that big man badly mainly for his inside shot. I know that i need defense as well, but i want to be a more balanced team. Last season all we did was score from outside, we were a jump shooting team. I needed a couple decent or good inside scoring big men, so i can use some inside offensive tactics.

Now i'm finished buying players for a while, i just bought a 29 year old power forward who is good in rebounding and inside def. I'm planning on firering some players next and then hopefully i'll draft some good players. I just wanted a lot more inside scoring and rebounding on my team, because i really want to focus on gaurd skills next season.

The last 6 or 7 weeks of last season i focused on gaurd skills, thank goodness i don't have to pay player salaries this week and i'll have a big more money, so, i can start saving a lot of money. This 29 year old big man i just bought doesn't have as a good inside shot, as it is respectable, but his rebounding is strong and his inside def is proficient, and that's what i was looking for.

I'd like to see the Vegas odds of that happening.
